    I agree of all the 3-3 4-4 etc how we're very good hares if just one of those hares was a top hare they must have been very good dogs.. That run I mentioned with my bitch on the above post it wasn't her first that day but it was her last..

    I do agree with mac in that what ever the cross or place there those few out there that you can't just stop after a couple of minutes no matter what they take a take that bit more work once they've seen a few dogs not fist year hares n although you don't see many through the season especially these days there's those odd ruthless ones that no dog will stop n don't you just love them because they are the ones that go on to breed the future good ones..

    Mac although I agree with you the bitch on the left her dam pure saluki x pure pitull she had stamina to die for and thrived on those hares you mention I'll never forget one particular race she had on thorny Square one day it was well in to 5 minutes on truly great hare which she had beat on huge heavy land this hare tried every trick in the book there was some sheep pens in the corner of a banking which was unusual on such land which the hare headed to in its plan b or c n after a good 5 minutes this bitch was still able to jump these sheep pens and wire fences surrounded it that the hare was

    Think there's hares in most places were once they've avaided a few dogs n managed to make it Christmas they'll take some stopping especially on land with little on unless bolty hares but usually as you say strong n fit by then.. Even on snaggy trickt land full of double wire were most runs don't last long but f you have a dog that is a really good clever jumper you can see some of these hares go the distance aswell..

    Strange for a beating dog to be scowling down at that age there should be a few seasons left in her yet.. Is she carrying some injuries?

    David Lloyd keeps this type although abit less bull I think but for what they suit him for they've certainly been round the clock.

    Lurcher x full collie Although nothing against 1st x c g or c w I'm just wondering apart from bulpa if any one had an alround type lurcher x full collie dog back in the day I would imagine from the right tackle and if put amongst it they would run from dusk until dawn filling the bag with hares n rabbits n not just once a week?

    You still see odd litters from known lines pop up on places such as Facebook but the hard part is finding litters from tested parents it's usually young lads breeding for the wrong reasons from dogs they've just bought in that was someone else's cast offs..

    I had her at mine for a bit as Jacob had alot on with work and his little girl Nice bitch loads of potential she has a nose on her doesn't she as most Troy stuff does..
