Some say he could be chinny didn't they but there was fights were he was a warrior imo n took heavy shots, I did like Lewis.. I just think that era was different level tho Lewis bowe tyson holyfield even Morrisons hook was a weapon. I just can't see fury with them but we will never know will we I hope fury atleast puts a show on tonight and boxes and doesn't lean and hold making a boring awkward fight.

Beating and some flushing for the runners in the day jucks but be nice to unwind with some sport later but not fancying the boxing..

There doesn't seem to be anybody interested in this fight certainly seems to be pup or even talking about it that I'm aware of even on some forums thats has alot of genuine boxing fans there just seems no interest so who is spending the cash obviously some people must be? Il watch it on YouTube tomorrow, in the past I'd wait up all night n morning for fights but it's like a circus now isn't it?

If for example a decent collie x or whippet x went on to some good daytime land and managed a couple or then a daytime coursing bred dog went out on that land with the lamp and did 4 or 5 id be much more impressed with the first dog. Jmo

Lol I didn't mean it to come across like that mate I just meant I'd prefer a young lad have a do with something thats not so much expected to do them or even lads go to places were it's no good for the day due to roads or whatever but although each to there own to go out and purchase a generation bred daytime dog and then lamp it on good land I don't see the point. For me I'd have dogs for day time and a dog for the lamp it's two totally different things for me now yes ok maybe the odd look no harm. In the past when I was stupid keen I would lamp n sometimes lamp all night n odd dog

Must admit although there's been times a lurchers ran a hare in place I wish it hadn't at the same time I'd be gutted if I could called it or stop it on a hare..

Good post thanks for taking the time Grand dogs them and obviously very versatile, regarding the hare thing was that also under the cover of darkness? Shame about the attack from the pack of dogs by the way sounds bad that does..

I'm not against the lamp and im not saying iv never done it but i don't see the point in getting a dog bred for daytime coursing and predominantly using it on the lamp I'd rather use it In the day and go lamping with my dog thar is bred for that game..

On paper it sounds an in interesting cross as those mails are certainly some athletes. I have no experience whatsoever with them tho especially as to what they bring to the table regarding lurchers but do know someone who had a Mali grey x collie grey who rated it as an alrounder. Sure someone will be along to give you some pointers who has some experience of them..

There's better dog men out there than me and better dogs to and I like to see any type have a go regardless of the x but it does take a certain type of mind set with a certain type of commitment combined with the right conditioning the get best that you can out of them..
