Yeh good fun n they really know there way around a car, I also like to see all the old different cars they have parked or even staked up, some places is like going through a time warp even a few of those stacked up in the pick above will get the chance to be rebuilt and drive again.

Your right especially with motors just fuel alone if you do alot of miles is costly but as you say parts and labour when things go wrong is expensive. For me personally if I'm after a car now I'll spend a bit of time studying what's about n get something old n cheap that's past mot's with no advisories or at least very odd minor n spend just a few hundred quid and to last me a few years and usually touch wood with regular service nothing to go wrong other than tires then scrap or take the banger lads..
