  1. Its no good to try n put them on land were there isn't any as there must be a reason why there not there n don't do well in the first place but if you have good land were there's already hares that is were it's ideal n the hybrid vigour provides good conservation and even better future sport..
  2. Thats it mate n why I said late season or end of summer but what I mean is for someone who doesn't have beaters or want to use hundreds of yards of longnet I think a gate net be fine for odd ones n chip away at em?
  3. Yeh ever experimented with hares With no beaters I think it best to just use gate nets in the gateways in fields or were the tractors enter the fields on arable you won't get alot that way but odens n still worth it every week late season or over the back end of summer.

  12. Good thing about your way aswell is you have them bug long tracks were you can jog your dogs from the motor for a few miles ideal pre season

  14. It's not just about increasing the numbers as they either do well on certain land or they don't but it's that hybrid vigour that does it the fresh blood on good land after years of inbreeding.. I'm miles from you now and last year sold my dog and had to have another dog pts but will see what happens over the summer after iv found some spots I'll probably run something on for someone.

No there not all strong on the fens but we're they are they are definitely up there with the best, iv done loads in east Yorkshire south n north Yorkshire all over Lancashire good can be found all over especially as you know we're gets ran alot n easy Yorkshire in parts good but the best iv ran being honest is Cambridge very good hare n bitch was having to jump wire fences 6 minutes in multiple in and out of sheep pens brilliant hare that n went 2 more minutes don't get me wrong ran plenty strong ones but that stood out plus going to the same place you know what to expect is were they will be
