fireman looking at it up to now i am haveing a good en,out of the 2 pair of irish first pair reared 5 out of 5,they are feeding 5 more as we speak,pair no 2 reared 4 out of 4,sitting again 4 eggs,but 2 have hatched this afternoon when i had quick look,so far so good for a change hope i aint spoke too soon

moll if you have a new nest pan in and she nests they will feed the young in other pan,but cock will keep feeding while she sits eggs,they will be fine the older young can be a pain sitting on pan with sitting hen,but the chicks when feeding themselves will still beg from cock when near him,i take young out when they have long tail feathers,hope some of this makes sence

i will try for some pics when they get on there feet,he is breeding 2litters this year ,from two good bitches keeping some pups back,due to the litter size some are spare and will go to working folk so hopefully contact can be kept to see how the pups progress litter no2 is here 4 spare pups ready in 5 weeks time .

nothing special to report so far,but the young irish are on the perches so looks like there thriveing well,5 young with the pair in flight,4 young with pair in double breeder,think thats a result,all eggs hatched and all were left in as laid,not replaced with dummy eggs this year just left em to it,pair in flight have built again today.

all the pups gone now,will post if any spare in litter no2,thanks to the lads that offerd to pay for them,money was refused but jesture was nice hope they do well for you

do you know anyone,that watches them when exerciseing the hounds ,if not keep eyes open for the show they have every summer,come along see the lads,you might know somebody,and they might know of you ect,there good lads once they know folk.

neil the nose on beagle is second to none,thats for sure but depends on what you call a few and terrain there hunting i would think,we have pressed foxes to ground with terriers in the right cover when in urban areas,with the help of good lads placed around the cover ect,think its a diff game say on the open fell with a couple or two .
