    slip rang me earlier and asked if id go for a shine for an hour so me being me i had to say yes.Went to a spot that usually holds a few foxes and we hadnt been here for a while.First field we entered i put on the caller and after a few minutes i spotted those big orange eyes .Charlie came in a bit so slipped the dogs .They turned him once but he made the ditch.Walked further down the field and called for a while .Within minutes a big fox came running to within 3o yards slipped the dogs and the fox got one turn in and WHAM slips 13 month old whippetxbull swept it.The fox put up a bit of a fight

    i made that statement in another thread and got slated but i stick by it.Iv used the mk3 and think you need a fookin science degree to use it so i got a bellman and flint.Iv only used it for around 11 or 12 digs but its been bang on so far

    Still a different ballgame mate, failed earthdogs can generally make handy bushing/ratting dogs faild earth dogs often make useless bushing and ratting dogs . its true to say that a terrier intended for earth work dosent always have the same oputunities as a terrier intended for bushing/ratting. most digging owners asume that theyre pup will work to ground and keep them kenneld till the are at the age to start them. they aint as steetwise as terriers intended for above ground work,most aint been broken to sheep or other stock and let to run lose can be a pain in the arse. i always

    i had it done last season to my 5 year old colliex it cost me 40 euro around 30 sterling ,dog was laid up for 4 weeks but he needed it done it kept tearing in ditches Was that for all four or just the one ? just one pal he had to be sedated and given pain killers so that price is very good i think

    i find it hard to comment on this cause i hunt cover for foxes with my terriers and dig with the same terriers.Personally i feel that digging is the main test of a working terrier .Iv seen heaps of so called working terriers that would not go to ground and iv had a few of these so called terriers.The ones iv had and gotten rid of i wouldn call them working terriers.For anyone that thinks digging terriers are not working terriers i ask you to drop a terrier in an earth and dig 9 feet to that terrier that stays with its game for 3 to 4 hours.When that terrier is lifted from the dig exausted ask
