  3. well lads slip and meself were to run tonight and we tried our dam best.The fields were to high ,full of live stock and not a puff of wind in it.After walking for over an hour and getting one bloody run each and seeing a total of 3 rabbits we made the decision to stop lamping and pospone.We rang fox hunter the organiser and after a chat we decided to run another night when conditions are better .Thanks to sionnach for wasting his night in comin out to judge us

  5. The only anti I've come across on this site is a little tw*t thinks its ok to bait rats in a live cage trap. Terrier something or other,trying to get us all hung.P1 was this him

  10. im just getting ready for my first night back on the bass.Theres a run of them going the last 2 weeks so im all kitted out and waiting to go.Iv 24 fresh peeler,2 flagans of linden village(4 litres of cider) 20 fags and heaps of corned beef sandwichs and my camera .Heres a pic or two of the hot spot il be fishing in an hour
  11. iv only had the pleasure of seeing a few decent deer dogs but the best iv seen was a deerhound ,wheaten cross .Sadly a hell of a lot of deer dogs die in unforgiving accidents where im from and that dog is no longer with us.As for commenting on dogs iv read about in books ,i wont because i wont judge a dog until iv seen him run myself ,as the saying goes believe half of what you hear

  15. the pup im trying to bring on at the moment is looking everywhere except where he should be looking.I walk up to squatters when lamping and all he wants to do is look up in the air for planes
  16. is there road works or big job going on round that area scent,could be lads on contract work working there.those lights on top of vans usually are for being seen on sites,preferablly big ones. as far as i know the dogs were stolen by lads that live on sites if you catch my drift but lets not turn this into a slaging match about different groups
  17. a grey hiace with an orange beacon was used to steal the 14 terriers as far as i know ,thats what i was told anyway .The poor lad that was robbed had a very bad back and couldn really chase them far
