  7. looking for a cheap rangefinder for a max of £200 that can work up to around 600 yards whats your suggestions , dont really no much about them or how they work and when it comes to using it out on the day can they pick up a range say from a animal the size of a fox compared to a rabbit or will i have to range in on for a example a large stone close by the rabbit to get a proper range??? liam
  8. mates got one here , winchester coyote thats the rifle he has, barrel life is pretty poor not sure but maybe 2000 rounds. ammunition is expensive and im led too beleive winchester are the only makers of it so theres not much choice unless you reload and by the looks of how thick the case walls are it wont resize as easy as more normal varmint cartridges. if your looking for speed get a 243 or 22-250. also i think his gun was abit iffy in puttin the rounds inthe chamber when they slid from the magazine they would always need abit of help to stay on track to enter the chamber liam

  24. ok ive found it the joys of wikipedia >>>The 4"/50 caliber Mark 9 gun (spoken "four-inch-fifty-caliber") was the standard low-angle, quick-firing gun for United States destroyers through World War I and the 1920s. United States naval gun terminology indicates the gun fired a projectile 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter, and the barrel was 50 calibers long.
