i got a new hob kit a couple of weeks ago to go with my 2 year old jill. when put together there was some squeeling and the jill was dragging him about i thought it was because he was young she was treating him as a young kit. eventually after a couple of days it settled down but i noticed some scabbing on his head and neck. so i left him to heel up himself (was this the right thing to do?) went out this morning to find that scab on head was off and there was his bare scalp and some rather smelly green puss. he was acting rather quiet and withdrawn so i have cleaned it up with some saline and

hi there mate you are heading the for most beautiful part of britain the north of scotland so please enjoy. ideally for the wild browns up there you would need a five weight rod and line to match. tippet strength of four pounds max. flies can vary but a couple of good patterns are kate mclaren, bibio and zulu. you can have success on small dries as well. if you are fishing where there are salmon in the water then you might want to step up to a seven weight outfit instead and some stronger tippet. standard salmon flies will suffice. good luck mate and enjoy your trip.

14ft Darragh double skinned fibreglass fishing boat. the boat itself is very stable and can easily be launched by two adults. not sure of age. there has been some minor repair work done on it but is completely water tight. the trailer is in good condition. the engine is a 3.5 hp Mariner long shaft. it is one year old and has been used for about 25 hrs in total. runs on unleaded petrol no mixing required. looking for £900 for it ono

i had similar worries last season but they have made no difference what so ever and i also have bright orange ones too. all made by myself. you should give it a go not as difficult as you may think and very rewarding when you get your first bunny in one of your own nets

went out to feed the gang this afternoon. whilst rattling the keys only four of my team appeared. the newest member Shadow did not surface which is unusual as she is normally first up. i keep two ferrets in one hutch and three in the other. shadow was one of the three. i got her a few months ago when someone i knew had contacted me saying thier neighbour had trapped a ferretb out their backdoor. so i went up had a look she looked a little skinny but no other signs of illness( maybe looking back i should have had her looked at by the vet ) she settled in quite quickly with the others. i hadnt

managed to get out yesterday for a few hours. arrived at ground about 830am and decided to do some of the sets on the lower ground as it was raining quite heavily. we only did one small field catching eight and loosing two ( down to my dad having a couple of brain farts ). the most successful thing about the day was that they all bolted the spade was never used . hope to get out again soon as i have just had a request from a lady to have a look at her ground as the rabbits are digging up all sorts. cant wait it sounds good. will keep you infomed on how it goes

i have recently got back to hunting (three years now) after a ten year lay off. i used to hunt nearly every saturday during the season with my grandad from the age of 7-18. then he took unwell so we stopped going. i decided to start up again when someone moved next door who owned ferrets.Anyway, i managed to track down the phone number of a farmer that we used to hunt for and he remembered me and said i could come back no problems. i have now just recently been talking to one of the guys who used to go with us and he mentioned another farmers name. so looked up the name in the phone book for
