I know what you're saying but like krawnden says, is it slow or thorough? If a spaniel or spaniel cross is working the same cover my terrier is, with the same result and quicker then spot on. But if it's working the cover quicker and missing stuff then that's no good around here as game is pretty thin on the ground. I aren't saying yours miss stuff, maybe that extra size allows them to make more of a disturbance and vacant whatever is at home? But you've got 2 bushers to my 1 terrier remember. Whippety lol ... You'd be surprised how long in the body and solid she is, she probably weighs more now at 4 months than a full grown whippet. I knew what she was going to be like size wise that's one of the reasons I chose her over the red bitch ... What I didn't know was how hard she was going to be to train lol .......You can see she's got a decent shape to her in the pic mate and will be a decent build when she's finished. Lurcherman must be on the wind up. She's heavier than he is by all accounts. Lol Thats not nice elbow head The truth rarely is mate ?

I think the biggest problem with pork is the salt in processed stuff like gammon and bacon etc or pork from supermarkets which is full of water and salt. I've fed my dogs and ferrets loads of fresh pork when I used to get half pigs and they have all been fine. As for hearts I chuck a whole beef heart in every now and then and the ferrets love it.

Good post that. She's been nipped and had blood drawn and just laughs it off. She's not had a proper bite though, neither have I though to be honest. She's had a proper bite off her corn snake, sank it's teeth and constricted. She just looked at me and said "dad, I think he's trying to eat me" ? Hasn't put her off handling him though...

Cheers mate. It's only been these last 6 months or so that they've clicked and started to work as a team. Hopefully we will have a bit of fun come winter. Especially now we got 2 bushers and different bushers at that. Should have most bases covered. I'm gonna be getting another busher next spring too. What breed you gona get gaz ive a 6 month old springer here and nothing gets past it hes working like an old pro. I'm not sure yet mate. Gonna get out with plenty this winter and see what's what. I've got a few ratting invites with my Terrier and a couple of permissions with rats so it depen
