  2. Smart that. Is it out of 2 sprocker Russels or a sprocker and a Russel?
  3. Any pics of your busher? How old is it?
  4. She had a carrot on Wednesday. You planning on doin some night time bushing mate? ? Correct ?
  5. She had a carrot on Wednesday.
  6. Yeh they don't like being chucked in. Lol. Softly softly catch a monkey and they will take to it eventually. Then get them retrieving a ball from the shallows and gradually throw it further out. Soon have him swimming of his own accord.
  7. When did it start happening? It's been roasting.
  8. Pups... Now aged 3 and 20 months...
  9. Lol no mate she's been on a good diet. No mars bars. Haha.
  10. Looks nothing like a pitbull in the flesh. Not sure it does on the pics really either. Lol
  11. I'm posting this for a lad who doesn't use the forum. He's after a young lurcher. Anything up to about 12 months old. He isn't fussy what's in the mix. He's after an all rounder. Bred from worker to worker and from parents doing the job. He's a good lad. Not a messer and has got cash waiting. Let me know if you know of anything what might be suitable and I will pass on the details. Cheers, Gaz
  12. Couldn't be happier with where she's gone to. I knew Dan would give her the graft she wanted and I didn't doubt she would do the job. I didn't think she would put 5 foxes on the bank in her first week but she has. Onwards and upwards Thanks for the updates mucka.
  13. My brindle bitch had this around the same age. I was hammering good food into her. Loads of chicken, beef, rabbit, tripe, yoghurt, fish, quality biscuit, pasta, bread, cod liver oil. She was just growing too fast for her legs. I put her on real cheap low protein biscuit for about 2 weeks and it sorted her right out. Then I got her back onto the raw but increased the bread and pasta so lowered the protein.
  14. Either got it or you ain't mucka ?
  15. I will keep doing what I do boys. Bushing every day and odd day swimming and by the bike. 7 days ago... Today...
  16. My mate Dave only takes his out the last Sunday of the month
  17. Mine are out bushing 7 days a week fella. Not once or twice like most. I mix it up now and again and like to do a bit of bike work with the lurchers before lamping season kicks in. I'm not saying bike work is better than bushing or hunting. It's just a bit of variation. Nothing more or less.
  18. Sorry lads I will leave the busher at home next time we go out on the bike. Silly me ?
  19. Like I said above squirrel it's just to mix things up. It's good for man and dog. Not trying to beat anything ? A boxer doesn't just spend his life punching bags and sparring. He will be seen skipping, circuit training, road running. Same for most athletes. Many cyclists will be seen in the gym working their legs and doing high intensity circuits. Not just out cycling. I don't see why dogs should be any different. Bushing, ferreting, lamping, bike work, swimming, retrieve work with a ball. You're right though. Every man definitely sees things different on here ?
  20. Always liked him. He's in great nick.
  21. No doubt but I like to mix it up. I find it helps there feet too trotting on Tarmac now and again instead of constantly on fields ?
