  1. totally agree with endgame dogs either have it or they don't ( born with it ) dogs can not learn to be clever
  2. yes mate fast dogs are injury prone, you want a clever dog who know how to use his gears, basically you want a fast dog to run slow

  4. this is my boy bedligton terrier making a very good bushing dog,i have to take him every were i go or he justs sits looking at the back door just 18 months comes from good working stock had to do a 900 mile round trip to pick him up when he was 61/2 month old well worth the journey

  8. just had my 17mach2 chopped to 161/2" cost £50 plus vat had it back within 2 hours, the gun shop that did mine was in Scotland and said and i quote they don't have to be re-proofed in Scotland

  14. hi is there anyone on the site that does any rating around the berwick-upon-tweed area, i have a bedlington that i use for bushing/lamping rabbits, i would like to start him rating but i have not got any experience in rating , i have a few farms that i can go on, so i am not after cadging any days of any one, cheers

  17. hi mate just give it 6 weeks rest , what i have done in the past is to line toe in the correct position putting cotton wool under his pad and a bit off lint in between the broken toe and the one next to it then strap it up, by having a toe of the one next to it is under a lot of pressure, i have had running dogs for nearly 40 years had a few broken toes never had one taken off, a knocked up toe is worse than a broken one
  18. 53 in one field on boxing day 1999 at louth ( out with the hunt ) could not run it as it was covered in flint
