After 18 years of owning & working on Land Rovers, with a few dabbles into BMW etc I've opted for a L200. Does everything I want, more space than the Landies, more reliable than the Landies, less welding than the Landies!!! The old saying is way correct - "It's never over in a rover" - Aye - the bl00dy work that is!!! Interested in the posts saying that the L200 is tail happy in the wet when empty, so far, I'm finding it very hard to kick out, nearly went out once but that was going into a tight corner, approaching at 65mph ish!!! A lot of people saying that the Landy wil

Flat slip lead, toggle type? The reason for asking - I was on stall today & someone saw my toggle slip lead (the one I've already posted on here & still have due to messers), however, they wanted a flat one??? To be honest, I can't even picture a flat toggle sip lead. Cheers Dave

It's at the Fox Hall Inn, about 4 mile down the A66 toward Penrith from Scotch Corner. Unsure of timings though

My dog gave me one seriously p1553d off look so I decided not to inflict it upon her anymore. Thankfully, these are the strangest orders that I have done, so far, but I'm sure I'll get some stranger ones in the future!!!

Hi Folks, as you know, from time to time I do some leatherwork. Recently I've been doing some strange orders As some of you may have seen with the cuffs I've made. Well, this is for a SBT, I personally have seen the dog, lovely little dog BUT the owner asked me to make this............... I thought I'd give it a try on my black dog, once on, she gave me a look of - "Right, now take it off, I look like a gimp!" Opinions please folks Would also like to add that my hands are feckin killing me!!! Happy & safe hunting everyone

would you rate a jeep cherokee as a good off roader
DDD replied to hawk eye's topic in 4x4's, Quads & ATV's
As already stated, Jeep are expensive on parts - top intercooler hose (which is dealer only part) = £180 give or take!!!!! Plus they give a very poor shooting position, especially if you shoot out the window. -
Don't try Next for shirts - last time I went there for a shirt I found my collar size but couldn't get my forearms through the sleeves!! Damn shirts are made for pencilnecked chinless w4839s! In the end I would either have to get a fitted shirt or.........................went to M&S & bought one straight away!!

Loads more added on my site. If you wish to view just click my banner. Heavy duty harnesses, cartridge pouches etc etc. Thanks for looking

Hi Folks, I thought I'd share this with you. A customer placed this order last Sunday, minimum size - 33 inches It's feckin huge. It is made to fit a great big, bl00dy huge St. Bernard. What you think folks?
-
The 410's are extremely capable, friend of mine has a couple & they definately go anywhere that ALL other 4x4's cannot go. Until they pop the rear mount on the transfer box that is!!

No probs, if you notice in the bottom pic you can actually permanently attach the collar to the clip, so in effect the dog would loose without a collar on. Plus, if you wanted a collar with it it would be extra! (most runners already have their favourite collars)
-
You got it in 1 there LeeGreen, the small "collar" is a wrist strap. I'm going to give it a try on my black dog, she's a bit heavier than a lurcher/whippet, well, a lot heavier. I'll let you know the performance of the brass clip. Bloody hands are killing me after making it. Update - works a treat - just had the dogs out, spot on

Hi Folks, for those that know me on here know that I do leather stuff. Just finished a a slip lead (nightmare to make). The clip at the bottom is hand made (not by me), they are unique & therefore I only have 4 including the one shown. I've yet to estimate a price on this but due to the hours in this I won't be giving it away. Here's the pic. I'll be going to the Wensleydale show this Sunday with a few bits. Also finished cartridge carriers & locator carriers. Happy & safe hunting

Hi Folks, coming down the A1 today & guess what I passed??? A blooming Suzuki Jimny with > > > > > A LIFT KIT & A WINCH WTF!!! Mind you, the lift kit & bigger wheels & tyres reduced it's top end to 60mph

Hi folks, looking for some help with my site, if fees are required then we can sort it out. Looking for someone to help out with css, html & possibly e commerce. Any coders on here? Thanks for looking. Dave

Good find DS, sickens me that the dogs get bad press by the media. There's good inside every dog, it's the humans that are at fault.

Some more additions, plus I will be finishing a fully adjustable heavy duty harness today. Adjustable at shoulders & body, suitable for the big guys - my biggest dog has one similar. Anyway, back to the recent additions. Country flag type collars, can be done in any size. Sturdy dog harness, suitable for deep chested dogs. Body strap is 800mm long. Roe carriers (for carrying deer ) Prices as shown on my site, apologies if not there, doing a lot of updates at the moment, please bear with me. Also if you have any custom requirements(all items delivered

Just remember the navara engine has no timing belt tension on start up - due to the fact that the tensioner is run off engine oil pressure Unbelievably poor design. Gone through various 4x4's (even landys) now have a L200. Rangers & Rodeo's do tend to get stuck but could be driver input???

Looking for a shed to be built. 10ft x 6ft, double front doors on the 10ft side & sloping roof from wide side to wide side if that makes sense. I just know someone is going to say - "Make it yourself" but, today, got some news - definatley have tyo have a disc & bone removed from spine, hence why I want someone to do it for me. Please PM if you don't want to put price on open forum. Cheers Dave
