    Kleen Bore do a kit for (.264 cal) 6.5x55.... But it doesnt come with a jag.... I had to buy a jag seperately...

    Buy it....I have the same and it is great fun and a delight to shoot.... I use mine for bunnies and crows and the odd fox.....

    Would that not make it louder? Such as a mod for a larger calibre going on a smaller calibre rifle. With anything shooting related I would replace if not entirely happy to use it. I`d say it possibly would John. Im no expert on mods,actually im no expert on anything But i guess it also depends on how many baffles were damaged insiside the mod aswell.

    Could the hole be reamed out just enough so that it is symmetric again? It might be worth a go before you bin it...

    Nice job sounder...I was out looking for Mr fallow from mon to weds then the weater turned....Didnt see any though... Its only early days though...I`ve got a few weeks off in Oct so hope to get amoungst them when there not thinking with there brain and out on the pull... Nice buck mate...

    Thanks snap shot it been a long summer but at last its nearly on us not long now thank god..Good shooting and all the best for the season.... Well its Tuesday night and i have been out stalking on monday and today...Not a deer to be seen. I think there on to us lads!!!

    I found in my 223 using 55 grainers that 1.5 inches high at 100 is bang on at 200

    I went to New york last year and brought back a scope.compound hunting bow,full set of cammo and a fly rod.. No prob... But my return flight landed at 6am New years day and there was no customs to be seen...I guess they were still in bed with a hang over..

    Hi there.. I just bought myself a pigeon magnet with a variable speed control..... I took it out for a test drive yesterday evening and was very impressed.....There wasnt many birds around but the few that were there were very interested and flew into range... My question is..What speed do you guys think works best?

    As far as factory ammo goes.. i have used federal powershok 63gn in my cz 223 1in 9 twist with very good results...If you reload i have heard that the 75gn hornady a-max are the bees knees for such a tight twist(1in 7).Very accurate at long range..400+

    Trappa i use factory 40gn hornady v-max in my 223.. Its a cz varmint with 1in9 twist... Getting half inch groups..I use this round for fox because of its very flat trajectory..When zeroed at 1in high at 100yds you will get zero at 200yds with a drop of 5.5 inches at 300yds.. In my opinion that takes a lot of the guesss work out of hold over at night when distance can be hard to judge.. Your good to go up to 300yds.if you think foxy is out around the 300 mark just aim high on the shoulder..

    I have the cz varmint laminated with bipod.t8 and a nightforce scope..Shoots 1/2 inch allday with factory hornady ammo... Its not too bad as a carry gun and is well balanced when taking a shot standing...A fox at 100 yds standing is no hassle..I can imagine taking 3-4 inches off the barrel would turn it into a superb carry gun. And even better if no mod was used..

    BB`s.. 3 inch if your gun is chambered for them. if not 2 3/4 will do the job at around 40yds max
