  4. I didn't misunderstand a thing Danco. I know the cocking mechanisms of both guns and I would say the HW is the quieter. IMO More so when the BSA slide becomes a little worn or loose. You can't miss take the "ping" of the HW though.
  5. are you having a funny turn or some thing , have you taken your medication yet Hw 100s are one of the quietest guns about ,a lot quieter than any BSA My BSA is a right noisy little fecker compared to the gentile click of the HW100

  8. I agree with you Ideation but don't dismiss what can be achieved with an airgun. In a lot of instances for me the airgun is the start.
  9. What does it say on the back of the battery charger? Max input in volts, MA etc? It will charge your batteries. No problem. But over time if things are not in harmony it will nacker your batteries. Heat them up and mess with their memory. Don't attempt to charge li-on batts. potential fire hazard.
  10. It would be good to see some close ups of the triggers people use. And an honest account of the amount of times they swore whilst setting them

  12. Join the list David. Look at the other forums. Some good lads with dogs or ferrets can exceed 100 plus per outing. Some of the gifted trappers can better that with a good set of snares or well placed traps. What about drop boxes..........? There isn't the numbers there used to be (rabbits) but they manage to sustain their numbers or recover well. An example was when the bad snow came about 3 years ago. It flattened populations in the dales as the rabbits starved or succumbed to the harsh elements. But they recovered. Even when all of the above were at them. If this thread w
  13. That's more than likley the case. For example. One job last summer took around 500 rabbits off 50 acres. But only counted rabbits out in the sun in numbers of 30's and 40's. This tally doesn't take into account what wasn't taken from neighbouring land. Which will eventually repopulate the cleared land.
  14. Got a better pic of that set up socks? Is that a BG set further on the run?
  15. It all depends where you are in the country and the purpose or capacity your taking quarry for. I am lucky enough to do it for both work and pleasure, there is also no real shortage of rabbits on the places I go. Yes the numbers get thinned but they tend to come back year on year. Im not a great believer in wiping everything out unless im asked to do so or getting paid for it. Simply manage the numbers. We do plenty of rabbits every year and hope to continue doing so. Don't be running this question or discussion past your land owner
