Speedlamper I had a HW80 that was prone to this simply because of the recoil this gun produced, tried numerous methods of trying to prevent "scope creep" but it did not matter how tight the mount screws were the scope was prone to movement. Hence I sought advice off a expert who advised me to fit a arrester block behind the rear scope mount which simply fitted to the scope rail. Alright I have to admit my eyesight is not what it used to be and has started to affect my shooting especially in low light conditions, I have started to notice a slight distortion with the reticule in low light that is not apparent during day time shoots. I have always focused the reticule on any new scopes as soon as they are on the gun during daylight, starting to wonder if after all this time I have been doing this in the correct manner. Lightweight (3.2kilos), full power (or near as damn it), auto safety, great trigger all this for around £170 quid.

Bought the wife a brand new Freelander TD4 on a 05 plate first service was due at x12 months only had just over 7000 miles on it cost me £310 quid, a year later the dealer (Rossleigh Land Rover) said the second one was due just over 1500 miles and they wanted £585 quid. Feking greedy dealers have you over a barrel with servicing as they always remind you when you ignore their letters saying the vehicle is due a service that their own warrenty offered when the vehicle was bought will not be honoured if you do not let them service it.

Never shot one of these guns so don't know how they handle but just had a look at the range/specification on the Cometa 300 and for the price they don't seem a bad buy.
