  2. finlay calder, theres a player where did you play your rugby, i used to love playing down the borders, but hated the days travelling to get there!! Used to make me laugh when we played Hawick as most places you went after the match the players would go to the club house and turn on the TV to get the footy scores etc, not the hawick boys they would put the racing channel on, they were racing mad!! yip funny i like horse racing

  11. my dog will jump no probs daytime or lamping, but when im heading out i always lift her over barbed fences as to me the effort involved is minimal, as opposed to her cutting herself and not being able to lamp, on the way home she is expected to jump and when on quarry the same but when were heading out she is always lifted until she is put on game, saves a wasted trip, maybe im being over cautious but it works for me.

  13. I am pretty new to the forum and this is my first post if the way whin is posting is the norm this will be my last.In my experience the hares are given every sporting chance if the dog is not up to the job then the hare gets away pups are not run on hares until they fit and ready and they are not ready until they can catch a healthy hare certainly not one that has been artificially slowed down in any way. Read his post, he said pups, not fully grown dogs but the bit about new mexico and veg is true tho
