  11. Thanks Thurso for inviting me for a shine up North - the drive was worth it as it was a good night. very hard going terrain, but the dogs did well. we had some very good courses - especially with the rabbits running back up the beam. Nice show of acrobatic rabbits! am having a great holiday in scotland - been out everynight (although sometimes for just half an hour) and managing to get a good number of rabbits. Tessa still holding her back leg, but everything seems to be ok - theres no pain when i move it and her toes etc seem fine. I think i've over done it cos i've been ferreti

  14. Welshnutter was in the area on his holidays and had his dog with him, so we met up last nite for a shine on some of my ground. He had his little bitch with him a collie/whippet/grey (i think thats correct, im sure WN will put me right?) and i had my saluki/deer/grey. Being the end of the season rabbits were a bit thin on the ground and with not a breath of wind conditions werent ideal, but WN had driven over an hour to get here so we were going out regardless!! Had a nice couple of hours out and as expected not a lot about but what was there was acconted for and the dogs ran well
