Hi socks I had him of bussa and hes the 'monster' he just refered to! He is a big un but legs are OK thanks to bussas medicinal 4 year old daughter!! It's not just me that's bred f*****g big monster ferrets this year then? Hes a solid one alright god help any bunnies that lay up! Did wonder if the ampicilin bussa gave him turned him mutant

Fecking big rabbits your way if you use a knife like this I like me knives as much as the next bloke but for me if your only out on the bunnies and want a knife for legging and gutting one thats comfy sharp and fits in a pocket is best!

For paunching rabbits I use a snap blade craft knife! Get em from the pound shop. Just show about 1/4 inch blade at the end and quickly run it down the belly. Very rarely snag the gut and when its blunt snap off and startt again! Got lots of other knives as well but this is quick and cheap!

Use something like alfamax 3's on charlie generally stops him dead in his tracks! If your looking for 'distance' get a rifle

Cant beat it liver kidney heart chitlings even black pudding I guess is offal! Use to do my own pressed tongue but dont know if you can even buy one 'raw' now? Thinking about it have 'lost' my original tongue press. When I was a kid and we had a pig killed we got nearly all of it back in one form or another. Head & trotters were made into brawn owt was wasted! Last time I got one off a mate didnt even get the liver!! was told butchers perks! Feck the butcher its mine! Good advice Jef have used the 'markers' idea myself in places I dont usually shoot. Good way is to use a ejected 12G cartridge on a stick just shows up a bit better. Bunnies dont seem to mind!

Cracking day out just about sums that up, well done! Too much 'rubbish' here to start 3 foot of nettles brambles and long grass. Farmer on my permission is a real lazy bast##d Even the 'stubble' is 2 foot high!! Hes moaning about rabbits but we cant see em to shoot on the stubble and his hedges / ditches are way overgrown. Much as I like me ferreting I aint a mobile hedger and ditcher!

You could always 'adapt' the chub recipie. Skin and clean the hare, sandwich between 2 pieces of ply and roast in a moderate oven. After 1hr remove from oven open ply sandwich and chuck the hare in the bin! Eat the plywood

My mum always made the yorkie round the meat! She cooked joints in an old enamel self basting roasting dish. [think you can still get em?] Took the lid off just before she put in the batter, which was made in the morning! Was bloody tasty cos it was cooked in the meat juice/fat!

Was recently reading a review of the updated version of the S16, ( S16s evo ). From what it was saying it knocks spots of the old model, and again it was one of the guns on my shortlist. Stand corrected its an S16-s! as per pic.
