Many years ago 3 of us were on a charge of disturbing a badger sett and baiting a wild animal .The baiting was because we were in cuffs whilst the terrier fought the fox in a stop end . So the day arrives when we were to go to magistrates court .We never got inside the door .One of the coppers had disclosed that the wildlife officer had gone to a live sett nearby to verify it was in use and had written a different set of map co ordinates that wasn’t made available to our brief . I knew the copper from a shoot syndicate .All charges dropped .It worked to our advantage that day . We

I would agree that today ,the real deal is probably hard to source if a chap were to think of starting a dynasty .By real deal I mean something that is breeding true ,isn’t scatter bred and self enters . Back in the day lines weren’t that blurred .The men credited with created them were still around and info freely given if you wernt conceited ,listened and asked the right questions . Id hate to be starting now tbh ,not that I do much anymore .I’m selling all the gear to concentrate on guided deer stalking .

We’ve been doing all that for years mate but have you ever seen prices rise as fast as they are at the moment .Funding wars and sand niggers is so British . Maybe your too hung up on the whole issue to notice .The country will be on its knees this winter ,mark my words .

I’d say that given 75 % of the population of working class is on ten grand less tops then maybe they are paid quite well . Life is about choices mate ,I doubt there is any barbed wire on the job keeping them there . Ive sort of lost touch with mainstream work places ,never worked in one ,never worked anywhere actually long term apart from gamekeeping but that was a labour of love . Been self employed nearly all my life .Made my own choices on what I want to earn . I d say most Joe public won’t back any pay rise unless they are job or it will impact on rail prices ,again .
