  1. Incentives, and if that doesn't work and they won't fully cooperate, then sanctions.
  2. So, if we feel we should accept no asylum seekers, no matter their plight, then we either play hardball or we can go down the compassionate route with all the EU countries affected by it, it's really that simple isn't it?
  3. Why was it vague, if you struggle to understand what I said then ask more.
  4. Clearly, so, if they speak that language then chances are they are more than likely from the region they claim they are, and if they convince the authorities they are suffering from persecution then there's a good chance their application will accepted, no?
  5. I'm sure it's not quite that simple, I mean why do some get rejected?
  6. I'm on with doing the garden pal, it will be porcelain, we are getting the patio door done first, and then probably having resin done in the front.
  7. The question that needs asking is, if all these asylum applications are bogus then how are they convincing the authorities that they are genuine?
  8. What are you playing at, staggered better every time.
  9. Again, does it really make a difference seeing as the vast majority have no known criminal past to begin with, in fact most UK terrorists are homegrown.
  10. Can they, how do you know this? I should imagine they would need proof of a very convincing case for their application to be accepted.
  11. There we have it, no amount of vetting would have prevented that.
  12. I'm saying they will have to be ID checked once they apply for asylum, if not their claim will be rejected, so, in the end it doesn't really make much difference does it?
  13. Technically they aren't illegal providing they hand themselves in to the authorities once they arrive, and then they will have to put in an asylum application which I image entails vetting about who they are?
  14. Yeah, you don't have to be sat with the screen in front of your eyes all day, it's really as quick and simple as quickly pulling the phone out and posting a reply, I always get a notification whenever someone replies.
  15. See the Southport stabber, his parents arrived here well before the massive rise in boat crossings, their asylum applications were accepted, their son was born over here and the rest is tragic history. How can you vet for that?
  16. I know it might take a lot of effort to post on your side mate but it's as quick and easy as messaging someone on a phone. It's not like you have to be sat constantly with the screen in front of you or you risk being timed out. Lol
  17. But, going off by what many say on here, it's in their genetics to be troublesome, they might pass the criteria but it won't be long before they revert to type and start committing crime, usually of the heinous kind.
  18. Stop them fleeing to the EU in the first place, put more pressure on other nations outside the EU, etc.
  19. The only way to stop it is to work together with the French and the rest of the EU, yes it will cost more money but I'm sure people will agree it's a price worth paying?
  20. That's obvious, but vetting anyone doesn't guarantee future safety. Many of these that commit serious crimes had no known previous.
  21. Ok, so are we now saying we are happy with migrants from the 3rd world coming to work here?
  22. Are people still falling for the boat crossing headlines? Last year, around 37k people arrived in the UK on small boats, that's a drop in the ocean compared to 1 million legal migrants from the 3rd world.
  23. Who leaves their phone at home these days! Lol
  24. Mate folk don't just sit staring at a screen, it's as fast and easy as pulling your phone out, having a quick gander and putting it back in your pocket. Lol
  25. CGI, this global warming bollox.
