    And it just shows you how bent some vets are. It happened with my uncles spaniel, broke it's leg when it was a pup and the first vet said it needs amputating and was charging a bomb, he went for another opinion and got the operation done and for much less. Although it was never 100% the bitch worked all its life.

    It's bollocks, fair enough the PDSA was closed but they should have an out of hours vet who will tend to emergencies and sort out the costs after the dog is treated.
