just thought i'd share a pic of new bitch pup.little mo, dam lakey ,sire beddy .it was time i added a bit of youth to the field as my other bitch is getting on in years now.this pup will be used mainly rabbits and a bit of pest control. it will be nice to see a pup again work aside the lurchers and me old terrier.

big blue rough dog is deer/grey/beddy/grey/saluki/grey/ black merle bitch is saluki/grey/collie/grey/ and the black rough pup is 12 mths old out of these 2. -

Hi gang i found this in an old relatives shed ,its .22 has 8 sets of fluting on the stock,no safety catch and no slides for teles,has the bsa symbol on rear sight. any info would be great ,im thinking of restoring it when i get its model. says made in hungary stamp num 57385. thank you in advance for any info,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,steve

As already said just keep eye on greenies they tend to bully birds from nests and take nesting material if kept too close. the egg food and soaked seed you put in for your breeding pairs will be scoffed by a feeding pair of greenies ,so just keep an eye out. goldie,linnet,siskin,redpoll,will give you loads of enjoyment and all the music you need ........good luck..........steve

Im scratching my head here boys,set off at 7pm to some ground that holds a few rabs,took my 6yr old bitch and her 8mth old daughter.it was time to bring on the pup as i always do,not to early no to late. hour and half shining without a rabbit.on to the next place,making sure i was quiet with gates and fences and the same here ,not a rabbit to be seen.The old bitch on her back legs evry shine but not a red eye anywhere. drove out to a place im sure i'd get some runs but the same here. Back in the motor feeling really disheartened that i got a well bred bitch pup to learn and nowt on the land

The usual goldie mules and got a cpl of linnet x goldies wanted so put up an old pair i bred off cpl year ago, dimorphic cock canary paired to goldie hen for me pretty miniture mules all being well. as you know in this game its 3 parts luck and 1 part waiting. have a good season boys.

Rough dog is deer/grey beddy/grey very good at all his tasks put to the merle bitch blue welsh hill collie /grey x saluki/grey. day /night. to produce the stamp we have now the black rough coat bitch is 6mths in pic. over the years ive found the deer beddy cross is very trainable and game as anything. the bitches breeding speaks for its self,brains,stamina,go over any ground.

Quick fix on the deph dial just to help you out short term. put a white sticker over the exsisting one on the dial,measure from 1 ft to your collar and mark on sticker,then 2 ft and so on until it wont register anymore.but sounds like the carbon rod inside is cracked ...hope this helps you out abit....................steve
