My uncles mate got one of him, a nice black dog , ended up testing it and then used it to breed some lurchers with it, the first cross he kept unfortunately got killed out lamping.
Should have stabbed him twice. The vigilante gangs were going around baseball batting them. There was one smackhead who generally got away with it because he was the only one I've ever known who was a functional junkie and one who actually worked to feed his habit. He used to hunt with my uncle and his mates back in the 80's before turning to that deadly addiction. He did come out the other side and is now fully recovered, well as much as you can recover from that addiction.
I'm not always sure about that mate, my last 3/4 cross was as thick as mince but still caught plenty of hares, it didn't have much going for it other than blistering speed.
Who actually followed lockdown rules? It was the best period of time ever. The roads were empty, plenty of places to walk the dog without being bothered, BBQ on. I had about 3 weeks on furlough with full pay, I'm begging for another lockdown.
Ok then mate I must have been seeing things with my own eyes lol. That was hares local, up Swinefleet, Selby, Caistor, Market Rasen. They can't have all been bad hares even if they are not on the level as the legendary Hull hare. Lol
Aye, done & dusted pal. Don't be wearing your mask when I pop up FFS. Lol
I hope your right, best times ever were lockdown, I want permanent lockdown and a lifetime of furlough.
I'd agree, but I wouldn't say they would be quicker than a 3/4 greyhound like some claim, but, it doesn't matter, the only thing that really matters is if they catch.
Doesn't mean a thing but it's one of the most simple of crosses made, a half cross back to a greyhound, some people like that because for some reason they like to know exactly what's in their dogs.
