You won't get the same images with a bridge camera because of the sensor size but it's all relative. The ease of use with a bridge camera can't be beat and you can get reach that professional cameras can only dream of. -

Canon R10 mate, it's mirrorless so a newer technology than DSLR. The more recent cameras generally have better autofocus performance which is very important when shooting birds & wildlife. -
