ive got a beddy x whippet/grey just over 6 months and 21".when would be the right time to start her. ive been out with her on the lamp just to get her spoting and she will bring dead rabbits back to no prob, dont want to spoil her by slipping her to early or start her yapping. how old should she be before she is given her first run?

i had a kids pool out the back last year, when ever i let my ferrets out for a run about my hob allays went in the pool but the gil satyed away from it. i suposerd they not dissimilar mink and they love the water

hi lads just after sum advice ive got a jack x at 6 months she is game as f**k no prob there, she marks but not 100% but she is getting there,just staring to brush too as soon as she picks up a sent it's asif she goes def, she wont cum back at all and i get no responce out of her. ive tryed treats this did work for a bit but she still wont come to them now. in the house and garden she is great comes to me as soon as i call her. it's only when there is sent around i get this prob with her. help is needed before this gets to bad. !!!any ideas!!!

lucky dog to get on alive with jcb digging on top of it, sounds like he was putting you off to me. we got lots off berrys in sand and they can be hard work, but all dependes how comited you are !!!happy hunting!!!

money shouldnt be the object cos you should be doing it for sport not money. i do a lot of fishing and compared to the amout i spend on fishing rods, bait, ect, my ferrets and dogs cost next to nothing. i would pay lot of money for the enjoyment i get out of them though. you shouldnt put a price on your enjoyment!!

it was a spur of the moment thing, these things happen. give him a break - thats the prob with the so called "hardcore boys". you aint perfect and i bet you' ve done things wrong in the past. you sound a bit of a c.o.c.k with that attitude a bit of advice goes a long way critisism gets peoples backs up

why would you want do it to pike you cant eat them very bony and they are better sport on a rod now salmon and truot is a diffrent story well werth the risk

a drift net at the mouth of any river is very good but if you get caught its a big fine ££££££££££££££ it well worth it tho
