the waist straps a good idea if youve a bit of awalk . years ago i had three loops on the box then i just put my own belt through when i needed to . today i was looking for something for a shoulder strap as i had know seat belts left ifound a shoulder strap of an old nailbag its got a mobile phone pocket on it never gave it much thought till i read this could be used for allsorts knife batterys etc

years ago we would run them on hares rabbits fox track even took them for deer if a deer was winged they would find it as franny said fences were a problem so was sheep only serious injury was cnuts had stuck buckie bottles in the ground neck first then broke them one dog slashed his legs that bad ended his running he was only 2yrs old had cost 2000 back in 89 a mate got 2 over from ireland from his family these were of f g ood dogs he done alright with them at the track he trained them to most basic commands would jump farm gates ; would retrieve walk at heel seen them

a few years ago an old fella i worked for ; his house /shop was over run with rats he put a couple of his ferrets under the shop floor they were both killed within 20mins these rats had plenty escape routes so couldnt see them been cornered another time he shot one with an air rifle it staggered under a shed half its head was lying on the grass some weeks later we seen a rat with half its head scabbed over

reading the posts it looks like hes fit enough for a run so if your looking for a safe place to run him take him to the track you could run him solo if you wanted
