hi Neil have to disagree buddy,i shoot a .22 well into the 50+ yds well! once you do your home work and trajectory map,its a simple as .177 just put the P.O.A on the mildot required and a gentle squeeze point i`m trying to make is that rangefinding is not so critical at reasonable (for most mortals, i`ve seen you shoot)ranges, only way i would use the .22 i`ve got for general hunting would be using a rangefinder, only way for me would be to go fac (my mk1 eyeballs are not so good anymore so with the .177, if i see it, i can kill it) point excepted, now go chop some wood,as we need lo

Well dont ask the feckin question then !! You cant help some people !!!!!! there always one, ask a question and get a silly answer, all i wanted was honest replies ANYWAY.. im not sure what power it kicking out tbh but what i do know is my very well used hw80 has far far more power and even kicks back, my mate split his nose on the telescopic sight when he fired it and want the tx to have similar power if poss only one way to find out buddy,is to chronograph it,if its giving more kick than the TX not necessarily more powerful, your HW80 might need a service? or degrease and re

when you say "upgrade" do you really mean "raising the power" ? i can tell you this! your TX will work most effective at around 10.6ft/lbs, its not all about the power buddy, its about shot placement

i think if you took it to a decent gunsmith, or gave them a call they will advise you! i fettle but i wouldn't attempt this, easier to buy a .22

hi a total waist of time!! buy a .22,if you want it for a project, then search the sales on the air gun forums, you are bound to come up trumps? a lot of newbies buy .22 thinking its the ideal cal,but then they learn very quickly, that they cant understand hold under/over and sell quick,so look out for the bargains or try the wanted section

hi i have a TX and have never needed a silencer, once you THWACK ! your quarry the rest are going to scarper.because its the sound of impact not your spring rifle. the plastic plenum in side your TX is sufficient. TIP. bring a friend out with you,go stand 35yds away from your tx,and ask them to shoot a safe back stop, while you stand at a different angle and safe distance from the line of fire, and hear it for your self ! on your walk back to your TX, you would of made your mind up " i dont need a silencer!"

what he said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can come and see me. And do some shooting too!

davyt63 replied to zini's topic in Airgun Hunting
thanks for the comments as range officers chaz,Si,and me all have to check yards, and carry spare string in case they get broke,so we have to know the distance ? Well you have no excuses for being beaten then (which you will be ) I thought i could hear Chaz's soft southern tones in the background of the video  ATB Adam   -
