would just like to say!
myself,Si ,andy&archie were knocking and reseting targets at 64yds a few weeks ago in .177 &.22
so i would say its down to the individual shooter to pull shots of like this!

i would say start with .177 its less forgiving,see how you get on
and if you fancy a challenge then get ya self a .22 as well
but there is a lot more hold over/under than .177 and can confuse the newbie shooters!
if you are just starting out air gunning,find a club or even try before you buy,both cals as well and see which you!!! think is more suited to you
