    Nice.... I find the leverets are very patient with photography.. they tend to hang about much longer.. Just wish I had a decent lense..

    I never did lure coursing with Willow but loved Straight racing throughout the Summer.. enjoyed the social gathering of friends and dogs.. Lurcher Racing has become a competitive sport for some and when your dog is faster than the rest you get a little proud :-) Willow was always kept in peak condition/fitness and could withstand running in extreme heat. Providing you are responsible and take good care in these conditions I don't see that running in the summer is a problem... If you want your dog to chase the lure for a bit of summer fun then you would need to start them as a pup otherwi

I retraced my steps Sunday morning from the night before with the dogs.. for a long way.. over varied terrain and marshland which paid off found my car keys laying by the dyke.. Off to get another cut this week.. Youngest was disappointed tho... he knows he can't get to school if mum has no car..

    I'll be there again.. not one of my favorites bit it's close enough to go for a day out...weather was excellent for 2009. No racing for lurchers last year.. well. not if you value your dog... but they did have terrier racing.. early. http://www.ukgamefair.co.uk/

    Mate and I will be there again... Racing starts early (around 9-9.30) with Simulated coursing followed by Straight racing.. then showing usually starts at 12pm...

    That's bloody awful !!!!! I was there last year and very nervous of dog theft... Just cannot understand how anyone could do this type of thing... Sorry to hear this and hope Ruby is found soon... !

    Thanks, you're right.. shes not been run hard this past season and has been well fed, she gets out and picks up a few rabbits with ease, a bit more work and she'll be spot on.. Thanks everyone for the compliments.. He'll be chuffed when I tell him.

    The owner of this bitch has no access to a computer but he's asked me to write this for him...... From my understanding her great grandmother was nuttals's "foxy" Craig won't remember me , he was a young lad when I used to go and see his Father with Brian Redfern and other Terrier lads but I have always been into Lurchers for the last 42 years. I've not done a lot with the bitch but shes done all that I've asked of her so far She's not a 5 and 6 minute dog , there wasn't many of them about when I was a lad but killed plenty of Hares.
