    Breeding the various lurcher types and longdog/hybrids of various breeding ingredients is by far very much hard work and particularly much patience if one endeavour to prevail his or hers chosen running dogs.One must have a real full hearted plan in their head to make the right decision and attitude to continue a breeding project regardless as to what one chooses to attempt breeding lurcher types or longdog strains.     No speak your minds boys everyone is clearly entitled to their opinion but these hybrids are an end product if any other breeding ingredients are used then its not true to type simple as that.me and date Hancock are relatively good friends and he's bred some good stuff on a commercial bases I don't end ov!! If one foolishly allows anything else to the whippet x greyhound longdog then this is a risk of losing confirmation, shape,depth of chest and therefore I choose to breed true to type in so far as the type of bloodline i personally choose to use.Hancock is a collie x greyhound l

    Yes bingo im 62 and returning to the breeding regime never too late my friend!I've a reseviour of knowledge and data that I have to hand its written from being self taught by my self...in so far as being in a positive and challenging position to anyone who wants to challenge me in the best possible way of breeding The Whippet x greyhound longdog,how to produce the highest possible results in so far ? as getting aspects as accurate and bang on when choosing the best line that I breed.

    The purebred kc coursing whippet must retain a 5 generation pedigree be k.c registrar and be entered into the whippet coursing club stud books and not exceed the height of 20inches at the withers a kc purebred that are of this particular status are then eligible to compete in such events Purebred coursing whippets are absolutely fantastic amazing little hare coursing dogs and they often bold over winter hares providing they are slipped in a brace for some hares are relatively fast, big,and heavy for a single handed whippet.

    Ok here is the plan im using a purebred coursing whippet bred with the BOWLINE bloodline in its breeding ingredients i will then put him to carefully selected well-balanced TICO Irish bred coursing greyhounds in order to produce an end product a genuinely bred longdog/hybrid with the tattooed initial CW in the left ear exactly as I did with my initial breeding project back in the 70s 80s and early part of the 90s.Now then it will only be the half bred and three quarter bred hybrids for it then becomes an end product ...finito!!!y yours in sport carl Williams BOWLINE longdogs.

    I remember ginger French leny purchasing LUKE a purebred imported coursing saluki from the bare knuckle fighters Stanley brothers for a fee of £2000 we are talking 30 odd years ago...big money then and still is now!!!!
