Does anyone still make the old spoon lures. Years ago my grandad showed me how to pull big pike out with just a home made spoon lure from a tea spoon an table spoon an back in the day I got good numbers with them. Anyone still using an any pics too put up would be great lads

Just a walk round one of the old quarry pits near me. Its one hard water to fish this with the natural food for the fish. Alot of local lads have cleaned it up put alot of work in to de weeding an pulling the lilly beds up to make channels for there set ups.

They've been drinking it for past 9 years mate only a pinch in a liter jug once a week then a put them on vit k1 once a month.

A put a little tipple in birds drinking water few chaps from over belgium said its good to keep birdflu away an cocsi too. Since using it once a week I've had no troubles mate

Did all my pest control tests at this company killgerm good company. The biology an control in insects an rodents 1 & 2 should of cost me abit of money to sit the tests but wife's sister works there. I've a card for the company mate. I use the virkon S for birdroom an kennels. You'll of heard of it with being into pigeons. The px parvo is great stuff too.

Yeah they've had them tested he had dna with the bird with ring ID on it from over seas as a cock bird. He had it tested again because nearer to season wasn't acting like a cock bird an it turned out it was a hen. So the DNA test was wrong lol.

There's no such thing as split pied mate I've looked into it. There visual or none visual or just normals. There's no such thing as split.

A sent it off last week an got it back today so not too bad.. The company is over here in the UK. Its a hit an miss now with the breeding with two cock birds. Could end up with a full nest full or none visual birds

Just had my confirmation through for my pieds an it's come through that there both cock birds when me an the chap I know really well thought it was for certain that one of them was a hen. Just glad I took someone's advice an had it done an not left it till last min. But some guys say the DNA testing can be wrong ? How like tho ? Is it a good thing or bad that I've two cock birds ?

Started the work on the birdroom for next season yesterday. Got the week off work this week to try get as much cladding done as possible before this bad weather comes in. Ment to be worse than the beast from the east. Little pic of yesterday's work lol not much. From this pic I've got another side on. Roof an floor are having 4mm cladding on then edging an trim to finish them off. I've 3 flights to do then rest of the birdroom to clad out. Would of been alot easier if the flights weren't up already for me to box the flight room but it is what it is guys lol

It's hard to keep a woman that isn't bothered about lads out hunting it's same with fishing there's a few of my pals that are battulars on there own. An to be fair there happy lol. I'm lucky I've got a misses that loves the out doors doesn't mind coming out with me now an then with dogs. She's even drove me about dropped me off an waited in a few service station with my youngest lad an me an my eldest have gone walking the lad.
