    Foal

Couple of pics of a friends foal This foal was disowned by it's mare and is actually standing next to a gelding who as took him under his wing he as been fed from the bucket (mares milk substitute) he is about 3 month now , I think he looks really well considering his bad start.

  7. Don't think I'll ever have that special dog as my dogs don't see enough game to be able to class them as special
  8. I use the one riohog said , or iodine both got from horse supply shops . Staplers are a good thing to have IMO or the ability to stitch a dog up

  14. Do you mean all breeze block instead of wood? If so I would prefer that. Are breeze blocks alone good enough to keep damp out and withstand frost? gareth use 6" block and get them plastered .. its hard to keep water from getting through 4" block . most houses over here a breezeblock built and they dont crumble away soon as the frost comes
  15. never had you down as a chapel goer gem ... good on the dog did it get any good clothes ripped up
  16. Accidents do happen sometimes it cant be helped and people that know me know i would never have purposely done that mating , i keep 3 dogs and 3 bitches and ive never had an accident like it before or since, that would have been 2 years ago and ive not bred any pups since Of course you would never have "purposely" done the mating ! That's why they are called "accidental" !! And it doesn't matter how many dogs, or how long you've been in the game ! I'm amazed at so many so called "Dog Men/Women" who have had "accidental matings" !! Believe me, if it happened to me, the bitch would be str
  17. If it's all wire fence 6" off the floor is off no use at all and is dangerous to stock , last year a horse got caught up in a fence because the wire was so low but luckily it was bull wire so no major damage done ,
  18. Why did you shoot the fox and not just let the lurcher run it?
  19. Paulus ... In northern Ireland it comes under the control of greyhounds act of 1950 And it includes greyhounds whippets and lurchers or any of there crosses . http://www.legislation.gov.uk/apni/1950/13/contents Link to the act
  20. Stabba ... Would you ring someone if they advertised a greyhound brindle dog if you was lookin a bullx? Even if it was a bullx you wouldn't as you'd think he was selling a brindle greyhound , that's my point here ... Why not put the mix down and then mention the colour , I was using the Merle bulls just as an example to show just coz it's Merle don't meen it's a collie x
