£6 aint that bad considering there will last you years upon years. i have pushed these into some really tuff ground and had no problems so far. if the ground is frozen solid i make a bit of a hole first with me spade the push them home good luck matt

hi try alan salmon (masterhunter) ive got some of his quick set long nets the poles are perfect . half inch hollow poles wont last 5 mins, i dont even think you would get them in frozen ground. im sure he would just sell you the poles. your basket looks ok though,nice one matt http://www.masterhunter.co.uk/

hi wasp grub has to be one of the best baits goin for most fish chub,barbel carp tench. trouble is getting hold of it !!!! if you get plenty this year your local tackle shop would buy it from you no problem and no doubt lads on here!!!

hi brimmer ive used both over the years but now i only use hobs,i find there shift rabbits much better. on the outing in the pics my mate put his jill in a small 3 holer was in for about 10 mins and came back out. i knew at least 1 was home so i put in the hob within 10 secs it bolted. What do you think ?

not all days there go that good some days you may only get 5 rabbits with 3 digs but good to get out all the same.... Back out tomorrow.......

hi all had a great day today when all went right,normally we do ok, but today was fab we ended up with 41 and only 3 digs. we did miss around 5ish and yes one kicked from right out my had which got a laugh, the dog got a few runs too....

hi all im not saying hemp wont last ive got hemp nets ive had for years also. but at the end of a wet long day sometimes the nets stay in the bag and not get hung up because thats what happens now & then,thats why nylon(heavy) is a lot better and last forever wet or dry.... thanks matt

ground wernt to bad but below the cap its very stoney, i like to take of the cap first just to make it look ok when i fill back in. hopefully back there this sunday... matt
