  1. Good stuff Sounder, hope your happy with your 4WD.
  2. BC, it is the adrenaline that stuffs the meat in any stressed animal and yes it would make venison unedible to most. With the Hounds coursing the deer scenario, it is a little more organized than just hoping the deer runs past the truck, never mention this to a houndsman as they will become a little upset. Small game will not be affected as badly though. If you shoot a totally unstressed animal the meat is always far superior than one that is stressed, hence the reason cattle are handled totally different these days. The tenderising issue is a little different once the animal is dead and has

Stop telling stories Ginger Nuts, yes we have had a fair amount of rain since Mr Stabs made the big move, but we have been in the worst drought this country has seen since records started. If you are really concerned with the heat head for Victoria or Tasmania, beautiful places. NSW is a shithole end of story. Fair amount? That's an understatement mate You don't like NSW then? I heard you had a bad experience in Kings Cross a few years ago Ha f#cking ha Ginger Nuts, it spoke like a woman, honest!

  10. His Wife, from a non British perspective, the best icons that represent the UK are the Union Jack and British Bulldog. The yanks will not understand why an Englishman is using an APBT as his 'logo'. A British Bulldog in a standup fighting position with the Union Jack in the background perhaps. Have been involved in this sport since I was a lad and wholly take my hat of to Kye, most exhausting sport one can compete in and it looks like he is doing well, I wish you both the very best of luck. PS What ever you come up with I will take a couple.

Hi mate, Brisbane is f#cking hot as with most places in QLD, the further south you go the cooler it gets. Get Stab's opinion on this as he has recently made this exact move. There is a massive mining boom in QLD at present and as a welder you would have little trouble finding work in the mines, prob expect to earn minimum of -100k a year.

Happy birthday mongrel, Ditchy I have it on good authority that he is locked away in a hotel room having a wonderful Birthday!
  13. His Wife, you have already found the answer, you want typical British, how about Stabs and his ginger beard the Union Jack in the background.
  14. Sounds a top idea JD, I'll get a pic of Stab's sober, that would have to be a winner for the RARE catergory.
  15. Sounds awesome mate, do you have any pics of the Bull/Hound crosses. The mounted Boar in your pic is that at a game fair? Cheers

  18. Don't be so nasty to those lovely little protected creatures mate! There is a big colony over near Everton Park, probably where those buggars are coming from, eating the figs.
  19. My Grandfather taught me once to hammer in 4 nails on top of a fence post around a hen egg, tried it and worked a treat, you just need to clout each crow before it breaks the egg.

In Australia my Grandfather is considered the same when it comes to birds, particularly wildfowl and regardless of whether these men were considered poachers or whatever, their knowledge is indispensible. The Fisheries hated my Grandfather in his heyday and persecuted him when they could (not very often) but the mongrels still came to him for advice when they needed it with waterfowl habitat and the like, arseholes, typical government. Men like these legends have forgotten more than most of us will ever learn and I take my hat of to them, they do more good than any 'conservation' officer. Men
  21. Fish, this is a pic of a big boar print, note the dew claw marks designated by the black lines. This was a monster pig, very deep prints and the dew claws are a shore sign of this. Also the height at which you find mud on foliage or trunks obviously will give an indication on size.
  22. Good stuff then! Great jokes!
