  1. I do see Max's point though, imagine a massive fight getting called off at the last minute. It's not just us the fans that suffer but what about the other fighter that's trained his arse off for 2 or 3 months.
  2. They introduced the 24 hour weigh-in to try and make the sport safer as it allows one to rehydrate themselves more, but how the hell can letting a much bigger man get in the ring with someone 2 divisions lighter be safe. Yes I agree and putting the onus on the fighter to try and force him to still fight is wrong, if their opponent comes in heavy the fight should be called off end of and said fighter should take a fine.
  3. Makes a good all-rounder or a specialist subject dog? ?
  4. Yes it was but I also think he still won the fight, the commentary are lauding Salido but how the hell can you laud a blatant cheat!
  5. Infuriates me like hell this bout. Blatantly failing to make weight and coming in to the ring two weight classes higher and fouling like mad throughout the fight. The ref was terrible but Lomachenko should have complained more imo, that inexperience in the pro game showed there. It's no good fighting clean like he was used to in the amateurs, when Salido hit him low he should have hit him back low even harder.
  6. Has it been confirmed that he has asked Fury to step aside?
  7. That's according to Fury, it hasn't been confirmed yet.
  8. On the way to Bridlington last year for the day I saw a nice heard of fallow near the edge of the wood, nice sighting during the late morning.

I agree democracy isn't static, a vote isn't final for eternity but you have to at least uphold the referendum. I would rather stay as we are then leave with a poor deal, leave to me means get out with no deal. If it turns out to be a big mistake then it's us that will suffer the consequences and we will have to take it on the chin.
  11. If the rematch does not happen then that's on Fury, he turned down an immediate rematch with Wilder. Wilder is the champion, he has no obligation to fight Fury.
  12. If only Fury could straighten that right hand and turn it over properly he would be so much more effective. Nonetheless you can't knock the kid for stepping in the ring with decent albeit past it fighters, he's now probably got a better resume than their Tyson.
  13. Yep fully agree, it's not the weight so much but it's the height and short arms that put him at a big disadvantage. Look at Mayweather when he went up through the weights, apart from Corrales I can't think of any opponent that was really any taller or longer.
  14. I don't know, the way he curled up in to a ball and didn't answer any shots before falling make me think he was going to jack anyway.
  15. Campbell did better than I thought, Lomachenko can't go up anymore weight. The size was telling tonight and made him look a little lacklustre.
  16. That's what I'm thinking, the fella who my dad gets his cars off does Skoda accident repairs. My dad has just bought a 16 plate Yeti with 25k on the clock for 6K. Think I'm going to ask him to find me a Octavia VRS.
  17. Mine will be used for shopping and days out and that's about it, no need for a rugged vehicle. ?
  18. It ain't a dig, my old man is exactly the same as you but I like the sporty versions of cars tbh. I'm sure the Avensis is as reliable as anything but the interior is as plain as can be and looks like it was made in the 80's to me lol.
  19. It has to look somewhat sporty, hate bog standard models in any motor.
  20. I like a car with a bit of style and a nice interior, the Avensis is bland as hell inside and looks very dated IMO.
  21. Yeah been looking at them as well as the Passat. Just been looking at a Merc C350 estate, it's 6.5k and has done 110k, 11 plate.
  22. I'm not bothered if it's 4x4 or not, would be a nice extra but not vital.
  23. Just been looking, struggling to find them for 7k and only do 25mpg around town.
  24. Humming and harring on what to get now, estate or SUV. We've made the decision to not go silly and are looking to spend around 7k. Been looking at everything from a C-Class estate to a Kia Sportage, doing my nut in tbh.
  25. Try the Chocolate Bhutlah, meant to be mild and very tasty.
