    I had a terrier a few yr back that one, And it was his only one he if caught He caught in a bit of cover, One morning courseing two lifted lurcher after one and him after the other, It hit cover without breaking stride and must have just sat there cause as soon as he hit the cover he had it in his mouth, No sport at all but ya he caught one

    Get a pup out of litter where the sire and dam worked rabbits and fox (pre-ban) iam talking here, Nothings a gaurantee but its gives the best possiable % of getting what your after, My personal prefrence is lurcher x lurcher of decent working parents

    Anyone wanting a laugh phone him up saying you have 50 freshly ferreted rabbits, That you'll be dropping off in 20mins and how much is he offering for them...?     Try hugging the hedge line, Use the noise of the river streams road ect to your atvantage, Use the wind also to your atvantage, Pick rabbits that sitting or the ones thats out the furthest, Try lamping a few sheep feilds with pig netting on slows the rabbits down abit and helps the dog, Rock the lamp on the rabbit to help the dog, And most importantly get out there and learn from your mistakes fellah, Get out as much as you can

    Ya there diffrent things that could be classed as stamina, Good fast recovery rate and flat out stamina As in some lamp dogs are good for 50/60 rabbits, But couldnt stay behind old puss for say 1 min course, And the same be said for a dog that could do 3/3, Not being able to run 50/60 rabbits in a night with running out of steam.. Stamina packed dogs that are knowen for high work salukis are knowing for being able to have 5/6 min course easyly, Collie can run about after sheep all day every day, And huskys for the ground they cover at stead decent pace all day again, Thats just

    Been for a few trials myself and drove mates to them, And honestly 98% of them wernt what they were made out to be and some FAR from it.... Its hard cause when you ring about a dog and the fellah on the other side of the phone sounds 100%, Ya come for a trial ect ect, You get there and then thats when the back peddleing starts, I think half of them feed you that much shit just so you'll go there and think fcuk it iam here now may aswell take it, Which in truth thats what happens......     Like i say thats what i get round here for rabbits, And it anit worth going to him full stop, Iv got two freezers and just throw my catch in there and use it when i need it, The dogs/ferrets get the biggist % of there catch and afew people not loads but a few like a brace now and again...

    Hence why i dont take him any, And you go there with 40/50/60s and it gets worse starts saying and he'll take the lot at 30p each, Then he sits and sorts them out thats a good un, Thats to small but ill give you 20p for it Just waste of time.....

But come on 5 rabbits, Get a netural judge he holds the money, And if they wanna bitch so be it, Drop out call it what you want then the other lad gets the straight win, You must know yourself 5 anit going to get any real offers, 2/3 hours would be a better thing but thats JMH, Does yours work from the car?

    Dont think you'll have many takers on your offer fellah of 5 rabbits, Come on you must see yourself that its laughable could be a couple of hundred mile trip to walk for 20min and its over you might not even get out the first feild, If your after a money match then IMH it would be better over a 3 hour period, With a neutral judge (time man/keeper), And you both lamp your own rabbits and carry your own catch, And after the 3 hour period if its a draw then you run on till the first miss, I am sure you'll have alot more takers if you done it this way, Come on 5 rabbits it takes some dogs

    The local game dealer here gives you 60p for a clean rabbit gutted with jackets on and thats decent size ones, But i never sell him any, Prefere to use it for the pot and dog/ferret food and anybody eles that wants any instead of selling to him for that price
