thanks mate. a mate bred a litter of patts. and there were roughs but he ended up getting hit by a car. has one now that is a patt red colour and has a few digs under his belt this season should prove himself.

So if you have one stick a photo up would like to see them.
Also can ou get a rough coated patterdale or is that a fell terrier.
cheers.
who did you buy it off mate. got one the same cross.
a lad from merseyside he,s on this site, a good lad, saw the bitch when i picked the pup up and she looked a cracker!
ive got the litter brother mate.
my father used to breed terriers. i think they were patt x's in the 50-60's. and they used to work to fox ect ect. and the odd one was white.
i like the dog in youre avatar mate
i agree with moorman a good terrierman should keep all types of terriers for earthwork. a stayer. a bolter etc. but my favourite earth dog that has never failed me and my mates work. is a patt x white lakeland. we've had about 10 in our kennels and everyone has stayed untill dug to. but sometimes this aint this best terrier especially if the ald bill comes along you like a terrier to bolt the fox if need arises. so a mix of working ability in youre kennels. is the best. my mate has just sold his best earth dog.
biggest dig i ever dug was about 13ft. it was f*****g horrible because there was 8 diff. holes and we were digging around stones and shit like that. back end of this season. and when we get to the dog locked on it was a f*****g vixen with cubs. so we released it. and that should bring us some sport this season.
lacto milk should do the trick. 2 eggs spoonful of honey and abit of carnation milk. then fill the jug up with kettle water. i do this with pups that dont eat or need weight puttting on etc etc.
hello all just thought i would let you all now that my little pup scooby had his first kills today. i was training to the lead on a field and my other bitch marked a warren in the middle of the field.
anyway the were little half-grown rabbits in there and my pup killed two. good sport made up with him.
yours in sport,, Sniper
cheers.
