    600 digs with a phenomenally hard dog... explain hard ...? stayed until dug to mate. alot of foxes he klled under ground. most of is digs were in old rock piles etc. was going for a second litter of the bitch but as stated she died of tunnel collapse on the second dig of the day. we lost two greats that day. the other one we lost was me mates best dog she died of after efects. Has anybody ever crossed a plummer x patterdale. just a thought wonder what they would be like.

    good point mate. do you mean like if a bull x russel and throws identically to the russel it would be put to a bull again and be sold as first crosses.

    yes i have done it a patt bitch old nuttal bred to a EXTREAMLY hard gary middleton lakeland. only 3 pups but all made the grade on everything.

    f**k nows mate. mayaswel breed youre own. or get a pup off a mate/relative. prices are through the roof at the moment. cheers sniper, ive got a little boarder X patterdale bitch, she is a proper little bush wacker, but i think thats the patterdale in em, i love boarders because they are a faithfull dog... but they are a bit laid back, trouble is when you buy any dog at 6/8wks old you never no what its gunner grow up like... you're definatly right mate. im saying about the prices being through the roof mate. have you tried youre dog to ground mate.

    i didt really get chance to say what i was looking for...but itll be mainly terrier work i do lamp aswell though but mostly digging. Ah right, and did you mention that to them, and do they have a problem with them? i didnt mention what i was looking to do just vermin id be shifting nothing specific. do you have lurchers mate as you say you lamp.

    listen to this mate. a farmer told me this that i was putting windows in for. farmers get 16,000 a year. and the government have said if they see any hunting lads on land no excuses. didnt see them etc. then this money will be stopped for a year. f*****g wanking governments.

    i think the best breeding of this "out crossing" has to be the patt/lakeland. but back to topic people may do it for adding extra advantages to russel that say a patt may have. but breeding is a patience and waiting game. cheers Sniper
