  10. Maxhardcore has a 18 month old whipp/greyhound dog for sale,looks a cracker mate & just what you want by the sounds of it? Just had a look at that dog, nice looking, how big would you say it is? At that age once you start working them, and they are from good working lines do they learn easy? yes mate it should,try pming max im sure he'll tell you everything you need to no.

  13. If i was after just a rabbit dog,then i would go for something around 21-23tops, most probably heavily whippet,or even full whippet,there used to be a breeder of whippets they were around 23 inch and 50lb field whippets i think, maybe a whipp/grey would suit or beddie/whippet.cheers... Sniper

    The best lurcher i ever owned was my first ever lurcher that i bought by myself,i have had others before by going with my brothers,but my first one wich i bought on my own was merling a 26 inch 3/4 Greyhound 1/4 Collie,hancock bred but no off hancock, he killed foxes,coursed hares and was a spot on rabbit dog when need be,although with the bit of more experience i have now with lurchers then he didnt fair well stamina wise,but the heart & determination was there and he was a great dog,i have picks of him but only as a pup,these are picks of a pick... i would really advise a 3/4 greyh

  19. the dog in the background is my munchy.. saluki lurcher x bizta .....hes got a bit of everything in him to be honest,,,,,..hes my number 1 dog.... .....does a bit of everything too.... . cracking dog mate,strong yet racy the perfect way
  20. My mate used to have a sprocker x whippet,it was a great for bushing and catching bolters because the extra leg from the whippet but for ferreting i would give it a shot mate i do not know how it would fair on the lamp though ..good luck what ever you decide to do mate
