    A bull grey is made up of 2 breeds …..correct ? A coursing dog with Saluki say 5 gen back is made up of a few more breeds , there is beddy , deerhound way back aren’t there ? Correct me if I’m wrong here ? So to me it’s a coursing dog not a Saluki x

    Morning mate just out of interest, how old are you ? when you say deer are you talking roe , CWD and muntys ? As my idea and yours of deer dogs is slightly different I’m afraid ? ? Coursing dogs have their place and for what they are bred for won’t be beaten ,day time hares . yes some take small deer and one or two may take larger species and fox etc, but if your doing them regular your pure coursing dogs won’t last , I like a bit of coursing dog in my dogs for all round work , like I’ve said gives them wind and a running Brain ,But everything else i want and need the bul

    When u X a coursing dog with a bull x for an all rounder or for more bigger game use , all you want from the coursing dog is wind and running brain nothing else, think this has all ready been said . That’s all you will get from the coursing dog at best , the rest is from the bull what u need and want to be out and carrying on going out doing it .
