    A coursing dog will be very rare and not normal if you take it out every week and it keeps taking fallow without eventually it starts pushing them , but if you got one that does best of luck as it’s in the minority

    Up till 2 years ago I use to enjoy it every year but last one seemed more like a festival than a gamefair trouble I’ve found with lurcher shows that as I got older my bullshit alert warning has got highly sensitive and I just can’t stand and listen to it any more

    Can imagine , haven’t been to a lurcher show in maybe 30 year since I was a young lad with a strong stuff collar I did like a game fair but went to the game fair 2 year ago in Oxford and didn’t enjoy it

    Dogs do what they are bred for mate simple as , don’t claim they do what they weren’t bred for their bull xs Always fancied a coursing dog but seen enough jack to know a full one wouldn’t suit me or what I do ,got a coursing bitch here with a touch of Wheaton lurcher in her from proven big deer dogs ,fair play in what she’s seen she’s done I’m pleased, not bad at tracking too for shit shots

    Always had respect for the little fellows , yes easy to catch in open for most lurchers even bull xs lol but then when caught they like a struggle lol if they were the size of a roe they would jack a few more coursing dogs than they already do lol
