  3. Haven’t run hybrids and not done much on sika but what I have done I thought their very poor , slow and go over easy ,Southern Sika a few years ago tracked 5 stags and had them very easy , got a good mate who does a bit on them up north and says same , up in Scotland they can be hard to get on ( that’s their main defence it seems very flighty ) but easy enough once dog on , technique everytime mate over brawn especially on fallow upwards

  11. I like dogs from well tested family lines and have been lucky over last so many years to have this , if I was looking for a pup thou I want to know that both parents / grandparents are doing what I want the pup to do and if possible see the parents out as the net can make world beaters out of lets say average dogs , it you can take a good picture and write a good story blokes seem to fall for it hook line and sinker on here
  12. Well ask him maybe it would help potential owners in deciding is it worth taking a punt or not why don’t he come on here himself ?
  13. I think with bigger deer you need a bit of bull or Wheaton in there to do them regular
  14. What deer you talking about ? Places I have run down south in country double figs on fallow in motor with seasoned buck dogs is doable , on foot not , you would fail the dogs here especially if your a fatty mate if you can do 12 roe on foot fair play , just to run 12 and catch them and all the shit after would take some going CWD ye doable Hill reds in day on foot having done a bit of this in a few places in Scotland I would say more than 3 and not calf’s your dreaming , just finding them and getting on them with wind direction etc takes some doing believe me , then
