    I was feckin close when he ran off from the car and wouldn't come back then started jumping about close enough to me to piss me off but just far enough away that I couldn't grab the twat ?

    Been working away last few weeks came back Friday and the bloody dog is being a right twat at the moment I normally call him once he comes he normally dose what I say but since I've been back he has ran off from the car when putting him back in after a walk and I'm having to say things over and over before he listens been told he's sulking but seems like he's just being a bellend anyone had this after being away for a few weeks?

    Fella near me with dogs swears blind he seen a black dog fox on the moors near my house not known for shite talking but I've never heard of a black fox let alone seen one. I told him it was his age and it was just a black Alsatian going for a walk middle of the night ??

    I agree with d lloyd if you know the land well enough try and sneak in with no light get yourself roughly where you think they will try and run to then flick the lamp on like he said makes it harder for them to get home. Also have you tried shaking the lamp as they get close to the burry this sometimes dazzles them and confuse them and they will sometimes decide to run along the hedge giving your dog a chance to turn it back out into the field

    Yeah and most the land I have is shooting land aswell so they just knock them over with there night vision stuff that's at land drake and got abit in ivybridge to but nothing in grate numbers there either. Your lucky to have numbers to go at really I've sort of called my season off to be honest to try and keep some numbers around

    My father in law used to have quite a few dogs and he swears by equal numbers as the 2 you have already have a bond and the could be left out that's his view not sure myself but a bitch in season could make the other to fight for her? Not sure on that though pros and cons to both sides I think some say bitches work better personally I prefer dogs couldn't be dealing with seasons and all that. What the breeding of the potential new one?
