  4. 1st of all i suggest you put this post into (Reloading, Optics, Ammunition & Accessories),you will have a bit more feedback.2nd i assume you mean a 22 Lr but there are a couple more 22 rimfire types out there that each shoot different distance. As for the scopes,if your not shooting anywhere past 100yards then i would go for the 4-16x50.You wont need to zoom as far out as 24 because it will look blurred so i think going for something in the middle would be a good idea.Hope iv helped you out a bit!
  5. well i think these ones have come from a place about 8 miles from the nursery in a park like place where the public can see them.Probaly the reson why they were so tame!
  6. Mate called me up last night and fancied a bit of bunny bashing at a garden nursery where he works. His boss had been loosing a lot of plants recently. We arrived at our destination and walked the first part as it was fairly dry there. The hard thing about shooting bunnies in a place like this is that you have row upon row of tree's and plants so most of the time the bunnies will skip from one row to the next.Anyway's we popped about 10 good distance ones which i was pretty chuffed about. We then went to the next part which we drove around.Having been there before,i know the ground quite well. All
  7. Try this one, might work and might not.If its a tracer with a clip on mount i have found that it requires a fair effort to push it onto the scope so maybe thats putting the scope out so try setting the rifle with the lamp attatched (may look silly) and dont take it off.Go for a shine and see what happens then! Not practical i know but it may come to the bottom of the problem!good luck
  8. I know mate, just one of them things aint it!

  10. Went out last nite with a couple of mates to see if we could have some chrlies.Looked in about 7 different fields on one land permission with only bunnies to see .We then went to my mates house and had a look on a long field again with only bunnies to see.One of my mates went home but in a last effort to get one we went on some more permission for a quick shine,1st field had nothing in but sheep.Went down to the next couple of fields, had a shine but could not see anything .As we were just about to put the lamp away and head home,my mate spotted a fox coming down the side of the fence.I qui
