Hi Pip ! so , when you or the old lad´s you hunting with remember , what size and weight were they dog´s that are used to hunt a 45 pd. badger ( before the ban of course ) ? after your mathematics they have dog´s used around the 40 pd. mark ! and i mean Terriers , earthdog´s not drawdog´s ! Greeting´s Steezy
  2. mate like i say i don´t know how rudi´s dog´s work , i only know he definatly work them on boars and did few foxes ! i never was at brians yard so i don´t know if they have scratches or not ... do you know that , or do you just listen to someone that say that ? if you don´t trust in the dog´s of the terrierman of the past , why you trust in thing´s someone say you don´t know ? i know that you testing your dog´s well and think before breed , but that is than your type and linie that suit´s you ! i trust in the dog´s we work with and they all coming from the same breeder that is 3
  3. matulkoh ! i just hear of one dog of Rudi wich is in my mate´s hand and he is sayed to be a very good one on Fox and Badger and i´ve seen one that is now at R.C. yard bred by rudi and it´s a hell of a dog on Fox and badger and wild boar ! and that´s the only dog i´ve seen working from Rudi´s breeding , so can´t say nothing about them ! I get my dog´s from my friend R.C. and pay nothing or less 300 euros ! ... and all dog i´ve seen of R.C. work ,work well ! and to be honest the dog from rudi that i´ve seen is half Pickaxe blood , as well as the dog from my mate ! so i can´t say
  4. i never heard of a book by Brian Nuttall ! anyone could tell me more ! Greeting´s Steezy
  5. Pip , you say his dog at present are no workers any more !? here are a lot people that write that they work them ! i didn´t know brian or how he keep his dog´s or something but the dog´s that are imported to europe at least are definatly workers on a regulary base on Fox and legally Badger ! also the small one´s are worked on badger and all pure Nuttall or out of Nuttall bred dog´s ! Greeting´s Steezy i write alot more but i erase it as it bring´s nothing ! would be interested to know if all the badtalkers would write the same if the guy´s in question would be on the net !
  6. look very nice Waz ! Is that "He" ? Greeting´s Steezy
  7. This one i got ( or my girl has as a pet ) is 31 pds. ! ok to be honest bit of bull in her but her father is the 27-28 pds dog ( no bull in him , bull came from the motherside )!! Greeting´s Steezy her father ( just nuttall bloodet , bred by R.C. and still on his yard )
  8. too expensiv mate ! that are 320 euros for a transmitter and a receiver ! we take 5 set´s next week and pay 270 per set than , also with a collar for them ! but the normal price here is 286 euros for a complete set ! Greeting´s Steezy!
  9. there must be some because in the breeding´s that R.C. did from the nuttall bloodet dog´s are also some big one´s from 10 - 28 pds. ! and they were and are all nuttall blood !
  10. searched like mad for one cant seem to find it .found mammut barryvox pulse box but cant find price or how to buy if u could post the site i would be greatfull We will order them here but but it´s just in german language ! http://www.der-jagdhund.de/ Click on ARTIKEL (upper middle ) than on BAUARBEIT ( second on the right ) than on BAUSENDER ( first on the left ) and than you find them ! they also send on 457 mhz like the B&F , so you can use the transmitter with the Pieps also and the B&F collar with the Ortovox Receiver ! you can use all allvanache Receiver
  11. aren´t mr. Nuttall´s modern stock of terriers not out of his old bigger stock ???? if yes there will allways be some big one´s in every litter just through the old genetic´s in their back of the pedigree´s !! ... so are the bigger dog´s out of the litters better than the small littermate´s ??? ...not for us because on the land we got permission on , the half foxes are in old rabbit den´s were a "normal" 14-16 lbs dog can´t fix the tight tubes ! ....so we need the smaller dog´s also ( but we also had more bigger dog´s ) to hold the permissions to do a good job on the pest control
  12. yes ! thank you for your Pm ! will send you also one in a few minutes !
  13. Yes Dev he is ! 2 week´s ago i take a young bitch from R.C. for next season on a loan and i could choose between 2 bitches , a daughter of him and another smaller bitch ! i take the smaller one because the daughter of that dog is twice that hairy as him ! Dev what was the smallest dog you work on all quarry and wich what result ? the bitch i take is 10 month old ugly as i never seen before but very very small ! she´s around 11-12 lbs and around 11,5 inches high and very very easy spannable ! Greeting´s Steezy
  14. @ sooty92 - this dog is at R.C.´s yard and he had alot brocken coated dog´s as well as smooth coated ! alot looking like black borders , spezially the one´s from the dog of the pic ! ... i think the border come´s from Miner´s grandfather , wich was a border ! R.C. had also few dog´s that are Minerfree wich parent´s and grandparent´s were imported about 20 years ago from Brian ! I trust in the dog´s from R.C. , also i trust in the dog´s from Brian because the have the same ancestry ! Theese dog´s work for us very well on Fox , Badger , Wildboars and Nutria´s with great result´s and
  15. HD , i don´t know how old is the Dog at the moment i guess 5-6 , so he is imported 5-6 years ago from R.C. from Brian ! to be honest i don´t know how he do on foxes but he is a smart ugly dude at Badger´s ( legally in Germany ) ! dog is heavy inbred Miner ! ...and he produce good hard small dog´s on foxes that i´ve seen going !
  16. thank s for your view´s ! i don´t think to breed them like it just think about it ! when with the A.P.B.T. i seen this breeding´s often to be done and the also perform on a high standart ! ...so i think if the breed really doesn´t matter in doing this and if anybody had done it with terriers here also ! @ pickaxe - i´ve seen now 2 or 3 litters of the half - Bull bitch , so all offspring are 1/4 bull and not one is a dog fighter ... the pure (?!) patt stuff is a lot more dog agressive ! the Bull blood also doe´sn´t come from A.P.B.T. or Irish bull´s ! it come´s from some UK staff Bul
  17. What do you guy´s think about a breeding of Brother to Sister ? i will not make the breeding but interested in your views ! is it impossible ? if the dog´s are 75 % Pat and 25 % Bull ? Greeting´s Steezy
  18. ok , now we know what for a dog that is , but what is thet for a locator collar ? ... doesn´t look like the Ortovox Dogfinder ! Greeting´s Steezy

  20. ok , Nuttall blooded ! but bred by Ronny Cloot ! some are in 3 rd or 4 th generation bred by him ! the first of the dog´s he started with were exported i guess around 15-20 years ago (maybe more) and a few were not so long ago imported ! Greeting´s Steezy p.s. wasn´t it the Dog makes the paper and not the paper make´s the dog ????? so if they are Booth , Nuttall , Gould , Parks , Chapman "bloodet" or "bred" dog´s or any other breeders dog´s isn´t it just a good dog is worth to feed ? everytime some name´s come up everybody jump on it and try to talk the dog´s bad ... but if
  21. Hi, I didn't log on to that forum for quite a long time. Too much time spent with hunting These stripes are not used for transport it is for the vet med. These large "go to ground hunts" cooperate with vet university and they test for rabies and other things. On the stripe the exact den is marked where the fox was from. So just for statistical use. We had a fine January and I am happy that you like our pics. I think we won't work a lot in Feb with Obi. We will start at Crufts with him and he doesn't look like other show dogs yet I hope I don't have to explain his head even badger hun
