    no hey eric why do you say no ? it states in the breed that they must be able to work underground so if they can do it on the continent why not here? smaller dog might have easier time underground but larger terriers can still work fine underground if they want the fox they will ! get it see it like the plummer terrier , plummer is bred for ratting and the westfalen terrier is bred mainly for boarwork ... and in both plummer and westfalen are a few that can do earthwork that would suit you but the percentage of them is much lower than using a mainly bred earthdog from workinglines !

    me and my old boy ! he´s out of Gr.Ch. Banjo R.o.M. and a 75 % honeybunch and 25 % redboy bred bitch ! he´s 10 now and did very well on the hunts in his younger years ! will post more pic´s of some banjo dog´s me or a mate did in texas ! Greeting´s

    very nice foxes ! ... but if no other do i will ask a question ... did someone know what size is dev ? maybe he´s more on the dwarfsite by the look of that fox ! got no size for this one , but the one in the foreground was the biggest i have seen ! from this season ... and when i saw him first i thought it was a shepherd cross ! ...and the same day one of the pushing dog´s ( english Springer ) catched a wellfed fox in the cover that was blind ! anyone seen something like this ?     It´s the same ! no difference ! Teckel is just another name for Dachshund ( Dachs is the german word for Badger ) ! the most common word here in Germany is Dackel for them ! Greeting´s Steezy

    ...but pip did you have in Ireland or the UK other den´s of the same Quarry we have here ? As long as they stay until dug to size didn´t matter right ? OK , in real old Castle´s they don´t have enough substanze and they are not the best drawdog´s but there are as many den´s to work with them as you have too tight earth for the bigger dog´s ... if you understand what i mean i know , i know my english sucks but i try !     Uuuuuaaaaaaahhhhahhahaah ..... pip ..... dog out of 2 imported Nuttall Terrier of his new stuff and his "Rat" ! Legally for sure in the legal season in german earth ! Don´t know the exact weight and height anymore but he was small ! look like you know the Nuttall dog´s of today ! I don´t have 30 years with terriers on my back like you ( i just got over 30 years of life on my back ) but i see what i see and the small dog´s do a very good job on "Red" and "Silver" ... "rat´s" ! .......single handet also for sure ! But i learn fast to don´t belive all the shit i´ve only heard

    Hi Choc ! Tom or Grom is bred by Pickaxe out of his line of dog´s and Jet is out of old Nuttall lines bred by G.Mason i think but i´m not sure of that who bred Jet ! Can´t say how they work because i never seen them ! Jet is retired after his work in the UK and Tom , well that´s a nother Story ! Greeting´s Steezy

    big for a nuttel 14 inch with a long back but spannerble and heavy 19 pounds very nice dog and good pic´s ! for the Nuttall dog´s we use here it ´s a typical size and weight ! one the first pic he really look like a Nuttall dog ! Greeting´s Steezy

    as i said i saw some dogs with pure nuttal blood and they were not what i expected them to be. we work our dogs to all quarries, 3,5y old bitch 150+ foxes and few badgers, her daughter 50+ foxes,... we test properly all dogs before breeding, when i saw bitch with pups and no scarws, i ve doubts. than i saw two dogs from well known kennel and they do not want to enter the earth, they even do not want do go down to shake or bark a dead charlie which was killed few moments before. i saw them on wild boar, nothing special.
