  1. He looked like a good one, RIP BLUE
  2. I kinda thought so and based on the replies which were all good confirmed it. In america I never got to course fox 3-4 times a week it was always the odd one. Majority of fox were taking with hounds pushing them into sets and then the terrier work. With coyotes a sight hound figures out real fast to put his ivory, even the big strong ones that fight crazy with no style dont last long if hunted often.
  3. Ernlad its hard to get the dynamic from a few pics but I understand and if I do Edwards Certainly does lol. When you see hounds in Danny's pics they are showing up to an already caught coyote by the Staghounds. The Foxhound push the yote out of cover and the stags run it down and dispatch it. Stags are run in pairs, sets [3] or more. imo you should run no more than 3 If you have to get new dogs. . Coyotes are tough and its a rare thing for a Stag to run, catch and dispatch a coyote single handed every time on a good coyote. Hope that clears a few things up.
  4. Here in the States I was running 55-65lb collie blooded dogs and they generally grabbed rib cage and shook. But the same dogs would throat a raccoon as they were tougher than foxes and weighed quite a bit more with are average Red around 10lbs. with Coons going from 15-30lbs and they were way more shock resistant than a fox.
  5. Guys in the days when you could hunt fox with sight hounds, did your dogs take a throat hold generally or was it any where.? I've been studying allot of pics and it seems that many of the fox that were taken were by throat hold.
  6. Kids are growing and dogs are getting used, good job brother.
  7. Tony R. is holding the terrier, Terrier dosnt look 12lbs, GH dosent look 25lbs I've killed a few hundred of them. No pic of the dig So I have to call bullshit. Didnt Tony get kicked off the Police force?Todd I've met you and from that and on the www your a nice guy , a little bit of a sales man but a nice guy. I would find somebody else to partner up with. Tony has in the past posted fake pics, hung papers terriers and is generally recognized as a black spot on American Terrier enthusiasts. go ahead and read this link........ http://blog.clevelan...uspended_c.html
  8. Nice looking pup Bird. When we were out yesterday and I put my set down it was in allot of cattle. I wasn't feeling to good about it if you know what I mean lol till we got up high and saw they had it down. I had a wreck last year with 7 dogs and a herd and I should have spent more time with them like you are.
  9. WTB you have a comprehension problem to? What opinion ? Like fatso Jawn I dont know you so how could I give my opinion about you and your dogs? I said 1st impressions, and impression I've seen 1000 times on the www. I was interested in YOUR POST,YOUR DOGS, THAT YOU POSTED HERE. So I cant ask what the deal was with you and your EBTS? You dont like the way I asked.?I don't have a crystal ball I don't know what you and your family do so I asked. An I'll tell you what you answered me and i left it alone didnt I ? Did I call you FAT? 10. JayI its nice that you come to everyone's rescue from the bad man. But i don't need some fat ,non hunting c**t telling me whats what got it? Was I wrong about her? Like I said I hope so, but I'm not wrong about you so do me a favor and block me here so you don't have put the big "S" chest and come to the rescue of every poor little dog man/woman that YOU perceive gets ass hurt when questioned about something
  11. Mosby- You walk in to lawyers office facing a 25 to life bid.... don't you look up at the wall to see his degree? I would. So again when I log onto to this thread that I'm very much interested in but in the same boat as Jawn{ don't own a EBT} and read a few threads from WBT who has as a sig "Home of the Working Bull Terrier", realize she is from the states ......I cant ask her a question? really? Maybe I would be interested in a pup from her, as she stated early on if her male worked out she would breed it to her husband's female. So what "Stink" was I giving her with the questions I was a
  12. I hope for the EBT sake in the states i'm dead wrong WBT, like Uphill said the breed needs hunters working them... but time, and posts have a funny way shaking the truth out. Take care.
  13. I look at it like this, you get on a plane and sitting across from you are two Arab looking gents nervous and sweating. Whats the first thought that comes to mind? Here's another for ya WBT, Your in Atalanta on Marietta st. and in front of you walking your way you see 3 dark gents.Whats the first thing that comes to mind? So when I read this thread "English Bull Terriers" on a working terrier forum because I'm pretty sure that's what its says up top, I'm very interested. But instead I read, vet tec ,conformation this, confirmation nightmare, pitbulls, pattedales, looking for a greyhound to s
  14. WBT, I was just wondering if you had any tail gait shots after the fact of your BT's that is all. I'm just so use to the States where enthusiastic people are talking about hunting/working there dogs and next thing you know there's a litter of pups on the ground ,I'm sure you know where I'm coming from.. Hogs are dangerous for a dog how many seasons will you work him till you know whats what? Will you free cast or will he be used as just a catch dog?
  15. Workingbullterrier-Did you import your dog here ? Just wondering where they came from. Do you have any pics of your dogs working? What do you hunt with your patterdales?
  16. You aint kidding, they are very nice looking with good bone. I could see one of them running coyotes over here.
  17. Thanks guys , Posh not in the winter and not going 100mph lol. But ya in the summer were careful and carry water.
  18. We started off the season today with the big dogs and got to see what we were feeding for the past year was worth while. I also got to see good breeding over come my mistakes so it was a good day all in all. We also finished the hunting truck over the weekend and I'll get some shots of it in action soon.
  19. Cool. When you say sloppy, do you mean it gets softer as it heats up? I'm told i have a pretty nice ass. And more importantly i have a beard, and look like a hick, so i'd fit in with your crew Just been toying with the idea of a good hunting holiday next year, and been given the thumbs up from the missus. Torn between U.S and Oz, but i prefer the cold, so you guys and winning. And you have bears, how do you stop bears? I'd imagine they throw the visiting Brit at it...................... Black bear tree, if you see Uphills pics all are in a tree or dead on the ground. We dont r
