Caught 7 over this weekend and had some guest up that were interested in coyote coursing. They took a nice bitch home so I think they are hooked.lol. Had some nice races but the endings were ugly. Got Dan's pup pulling some fur and my pup acted like she could careless. Ill give her some time but not to much.

Well the season is coming to an end, its warming up, the female coyotes are bred now and the fur is breaking. Had a solid season with my set of Glitch,GaGa and T taking 30 coyotes with no other dogs help and Glitch and GaGa on 42 as a pair or with another Stag. I think I got out run 3 or4 times during the season also. Some races will last in my memories for a long time.Saw some other good dogs out here do well also. Nothing special with my crew just Stags doing what they were bred to do ,but the outfit here have pups or pups on the way with some very good breeding's and if 20% make it as Stags,

both my workers laid up so old pics only
STUNTMAN replied to D Lloyd's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Great pics ! I'll bet you know 1000 ways to prepare rabbit lol! -
First a worker, then a head dog not a pusher or heeler. See if you can find one working cattle and comes from a line of stock dogs that have bite. This is what we use over here.

Jonesy, regarding the fella Greg probably told you about, changes to the rabies laws recently might make things easier and less costly to get a dog to you. Havent spoken to him for a while, but I bet he'd know of any good stuff around. Waz-Greg D is dead. hung himself in jail. I had the sister to his Lui dog called"Gull" bred by a man called Wolfgang in Germany. She was a useful dog and was a very good locator. Even treed a bear one time @14 lbs. lol. But i used her in the ground. Not many dig anything in the states never mind Jags so if anyone wants to go that route make sure the sel

Stock dog, cattle collie what ever you want to call it is every bit important as the running dog side. A good stock dog that can move a bad cow that wants to eats its lunch day in day out is the kind I have and would use again and again.Me personally for what I do , I would stay away from the sheep only type dogs and especially the sheep trial types.

Chris- you understand that in some or most of the vids we are spotting the coyote almost a mile away....You dont just take your time rollin up lol especially with 425 hp.In some places we cant put the dogs down as the ground [lava] will lay a dog up for some time in the middle of hunting season. I no mate and I never meant it to sound like I was slagging the method of hunting of, more the hypocrisy of ALOT of British hunters!! If you search on YouTube for "police release helicopter footage of deer poachers" the video I'm on about will come up..... just w@tched the vid wtf tou

There is a lad on Stunts group that hunts off horse back though so it ain't all driving the land Is his name benji...... Lurcher-I've run sight hounds all over the States , on foot, horse back and by truck. When hunting coyotes in the Western part of United States most is done by truck. We dont have the easy farm ground thats chopped up mile X mile with roads so you can get around cover a section. I hunt places out here that your off road for 5,10 miles with no roads. The only way you can hunt is with a truck or horse. One of my friends out here added his repair bills on his truck

Edwards i have to dis agree with you concerning track greyhound comment. I have either seen, owned or hunted with some good ones and there are good ones out there just like everthing else along with junk. Seen alot junk Stags, terirers ,hounds, curs, bull dogs and men just like you have and if you think some of the stags you owned haven't had GH in them well your a hill jack. Dan I have tried it twice. Once with a Track grey out of Gable dodge, under a stud dog from Goran P. his jags are from Croatia. Bitch got bred had pups ate them. Second time was to another Hot Blood [below} and it never
