  7. We hit it early today and Hay Hound brought both rigs. (I want more friends like him lol) we had 3 sets that two had some young pups in them and one set had a first timer. As we emptying the hounds out UH spotted one close to a mile away, we loaded up with UH in the Badger with HH. And myself with my set in the Raptor. After searching for a while mr. Yote was never found and the dreaded news of the Honey badger had broke over the radio.. During the repair I found one in place where we had some space and put them down with him loping at 250 out. It was the biggest run this year for me with Gush
  8. Slow week, didn't see that many. MC hit the desert and caught three with his buggy and Hay Hound and myself caught 1 whopper today ,fattest I've ever seen but ran well and then stopped to fight..... After we went to a harvest party , Vaccaro themed and ate lamb and beef over open flame ,cant tell you how good it was.
  9. We hunt American Stags or Staghounds, some call them greyhounds or coyote greyhounds, but that isnt correct. I have a theory on why they are called Stags and when i have more time I'll lay it out. Sight Hound terminology This is from High Losome Hounds, a book by Dutch Salmon http://www.high-lonesomehounds.com/ Trying to define such terms as lurcher, longdog, staghound, coldblood etc. can lead to confusion, arguments, or worse, and it’s no help to go to the dictionary because the words aren’t there. Nonetheless, for the sake of coherent communication, it would be helpful if houn

He was raised right with the chow and free running on the ranch till he started getting in trouble lol. But you guys know how that goes starts of like a gang busters and 10-15 yotes later hes starts jacking, but I have my fingers crossed.

  15. HERE WE GO- 1st hunt in the books. Woke up this am found Uphilldoc sleeping on my couch covered in glitter and smelling of vanilla, coconut and Patron. Then met Hay Hound and went hunting for the first time in 2014-15 season. HH brought two vets and two pups I had Gush, Sport and first time pup GiG. It started off in good kaos, we spotted a badger and pulled over to get him and had coyotes everywhere. HH got on one and got out run to a fence. Next we get one running and it crosses the road in front of me and i put my set down and gush makes the catch with sport right behind her and Gig the p

  19. Had a rough day yesterday well mostly for the Honey Badger. It broke down a few times once in hot pursuit. We got stranded on in the desert and Mc Hammer came and got us after a few hours. Saw four but never got the mutts down. If you look at the ground where HH is sitting its pretty rough on a a Stags feet. Look out for this pupnext year , she might be something.
